Our R&D department has developed, and recently launched, the new Therma Flow hybrid hot water steam cleaner, a low-flow machine that uses just 7.5 litres per min of water. The genius of this machine, when compared to traditional equivalent jet wash that would produce between 15 and 21 litres per min, is that the  Therma Flow  uses half the water consumption and disposal, resulting in reduced water for sites where drainage is limited or water reclaim is required. If there is no foul drain, there are 2 options because wastewater/wash water must NOT enter a surface drain storm drain or soakaway. While graffiti is a statement of expression for some, for others it is an unwanted, unsightly mess. Deeply i ngrained paint is one of the toughest things to remove from walls, buildings and alleyways. Porous surfaces such as brick and stone tend to absorb solvent-based spray paints, which usually require pressure washing or sandblasting to remove the offending artwork. This time last week the Morclean team were busy busy busy chatting with Cleaning Show 2019 go-ers about our brand new ThermaSteam. So let's reflect on the show... Usually, we bring the BinWash along with us to the show but this year was a little different. This year we brought our new machine, the ThermaSteam, which caught quite a bit of attention due to the mesmerizing video we had playing in the background, showing off exactly what the ThermaSteam can do.  Monday: Get up and Set up! Monday was set up day and Ian, Keith and Peter were tasked with the job of pulling the stand together and making it look pretty for the busy days ahead. Getting the TV position just right, meticulously sticking the stand graphics up on the boards and making sure the ThermaSteam was looking its best. One of the UK's leading bakery brand has bought on of our fantastic commercial steam cleaners.  Our Vapour Steam Cleaners are perfect to quickly clean and sanitise inanimate objects or surfaces. Steam is produced in a boiler, heating water to temperatures over 115°C to produce low pressure, low moisture vapour. Morclean Vapour Steam Cleaners use very little water compared to our Jet Washer alternatives, with usage being typically measured in litres per hour as opposed to litres per minute. the lack of water used also makes these products ideal for inside use, where waste water would cause an issue. So here's an innocent looking pallet, with a fairly standard looking machine strapped on top. Morclean are always looking for new avenues and opportunities to market their vapour steam cleaning machines.  Something  that has been successful of late is the use of a Vapour Steam cleaner for graffiti removal in subways.  Morclean have supplied Steam Cleaners to contractors for cleaning graffiti in London Underground as well as Subways. The process uses much less water than the conventional method of high pressure cleaning (5 Ltrs per hour as opposed to 15 Ltrs per minute). The process in fact proved that graffiti could be removed by using much less detergent or chemicals. Morclean delighted to supply a number jet wash machines to North Sea Helipads for the very first time.   The Morclean jet wash machines are currently being tested so all being well, the machines can be installed at other pads and bases too. The Helipads are based in the northern and southern areas of the North Sea, and are required to fulfill the brief of a jet wash capable of using sea water due to the location. The off shore / marine salt water pressure washers are being used to clean the pads for landing. Due to the location of the pads, they often get covered in seagull and other sea birds debris causing a slip hazard. With the salt water pressure washers, this can now be avoided.
