Saltwater pressure washers are designed for use primarily within the marine, shipping, oil and gas industries . Specifically built for use with saltwater, these machines need to function in corrosion inducing environments. The corrosion of machine parts is likely to occur when grease, grime detergent, and minerals are present. The saltwater passing through the pump would normally damage the pump and internal pipework on a standard machine, while the cover and frame of the machine would struggle to withstand the elements also. This time last week the Morclean team were busy busy busy chatting with Cleaning Show 2019 go-ers about our brand new ThermaSteam. So let's reflect on the show... Usually, we bring the BinWash along with us to the show but this year was a little different.  In one of our most recent projects we have custom built two pressure washers to a client's specification and  provided spare parts for a currently used machine. The pressure washers are skid mounted machines and come with a water tank and chemical tank. These tanks have been tailored to the sizes the customer required so they can install the models to their own vehicles. The client, who are based in Libya, have previously purchased equipment from us and also required some spare parts which were added to their crate. We have an abundance of equipment here at Morclean that can be used for various applications and we're always looking for ways to help the local community. Recently we have lent one of our bowser pressure washers to a local canal renovation project which aims to  restore the Staveley Town Lock and Hartington Harbour. The Chesterfield Canal Trust has spent well over £120,000 on the project (£45,000 of which has come from donations) which is a huge amount of money. Unsurprisingly the Trust were really appreciative when we offered to lend them one of our water bowser pressure washer machines free of charge to help assist in the cleaning of the site. The bowser is ideal for construction sites which don't have immediate access to an electricity source and it runs solely off of a battery. Today in the Morclean office we have received very positive feedback from a company who have been hiring pressure washers from us. In light of this we have been reflecting back on companies who we have previously supplied pressure washers to and have remembered the time we sent a warm wash unit to West Midlands Safari Park. Back in September 2015 we were approached by the safari park to provide a medium pressure cleaner to help keep their elephant house clean. We were also surprised to learn that the elephants themselves would be making use of pressure washer and indulging in a nice warm wash from the machines. The pressure cleaner provided an accurate temperature and detergent dosing system for use by the park and offered the nellies a very happy shower indeed.
