The company was looking for a wash bay solution that created a dedicated area for washing down the recreational vehicles as they came in, as motorhome sales continue to boom with Brits choosing to vacation closer to home. The Clay Cross based business converts 4x4 pickups [mainly Ford Ranger], specialising in seat conversions, fitting body kits, numberplate centralisation, and so on. The company needed a compliant wash bay that met with statutory guidelines for wastewater discharge. After the  Morclean team had assessed the site, they cracked on with designing a sustainable, efficient, and cost-saving wash bay. A new slab was laid and Morclean installed the wash screens, along with the supply and installation of a  silt trap and interceptor to collect larger debris and control silt deposits.   There and back on an empty ferry... ...our recent site visit to the Netherlands saw us p reparing for some installation work via our hub in Rotterdam. Morclean to install wash pads, a blue box, wash screens, canopies, pumps, pump chambers, and the new BioX - car wash treatment plant - that purifies and separates all pollutants  (such as sand and mud, gravel. silt. residues, detergents, oils, hydrocarbons)  that are present in the water. All areas cleaned and sanitised, and the installation team ready and raring to go!! And all of this in just one day - phew!

The wash mat is a surface mounted system which means the operator can avoid excavation or the need to have any items installed below ground.  This is ideal for leasehold or sensitive sites such as a multi storey car park where ground works are not practical.
