Happy Anniversay, to me!

Image
By Michelle Reece, Morclean's Marketing Manager It's exactly 2 years today that I started at Morclean, and what a journey it's been! From the incredible research and development ideas that I've seen put on the table, all the way through to them being designed, developed and manufactured into actual systems, the passion for what they do here has enabled me to get fully entrenched in the cleaning industry. Even throughout lockdown, the team held their heads high and dealt with whatever situation they were faced with. And as hard as it was getting through those scary first months, we have managed to come out fighting on the other side, with our sales increasing expontentially this year. We even opened a new and additional unit in July, that is dedicated to R&D, assembly, manufacturing and production, enabling us to devote our time to progressing the business and the products that we supply, We're always looking to stay ahead of the game by bringing customer-led, in...

Double the space, double the production

Image
We've recently secured an additional premises to assist us in growing and moving forward with producing our innovative industrial and commercial cleaning equipment.  Having approximately doubled our floorspace with a new workshop area, extra office space, and stores, other added benefits include more staff and visitor car parking spaces and outdoor compound storage. The new site is located just across the road from our Head Office and is now the new home of the award-winning mobile bin wash, the Custom Plus. This extra space has allowed us to devote more time to R&D, assembly, and production. This means that we have a dedicated area for the assembly of niche models and van packs. Also - new bin wash models are being released over the coming weeks and months, such as the Swift 150 and the Swift e-series, and lead times have reduced considerably for those wanting to order one of our incredible machines. If you would like to book a bin ...

The new Ecoflex semi-permanent wash pad from Morclean. Innovation in bund.

Image
Our  new   EcoFlex   semi-permanent wash pad is a cost-effective and practical way of creating a dedicated vehicle wash space for businesses that don't wish to commit to a traditional concrete wash pad. E specially if the land is leasehold,  as no excavation or groundwork needs to take place whatsoever. Genius! The  EcoFlex   wash pad is a sealed, watertight wash bay bund that is simply  rolled out onto the floor, unfolded, and fitted using fast-fix bolts. All of this takes  less than an hour and you're left with an extremely durable, chemical resistant and robust wash area that can accommodate all weights of cars, vans and HGV's, especially as the wash mat can be  supplied to meet your specifications in terms of dimensions and design. The cle aning water is captured within a 150mm kerbed bund which can either be discharged to foul or pumped to a water reclaim system.   Supplied (as standard) with a drain to one end of the p...

R&D Project Innovation for Plant Wash Water Recovery 💡

Image
We were recently approached by a client who was looking for a viable solution for cleaning and re-using water, for washing plant hire that has been returned from hire. Our MD, Peter Morley, got his R&D cap on and set about inventing a new wash water recovery system. We’ve now designed, prototyped, manufactured, and tested the new wash pad, which is the same as our regular wash pad, but smaller and deeper at 3x2m or 3x3m (L x W) and a depth of 180mm. The new system catches and collects the water on the wash pad. The water is then pumped from the pad to the reclaim system. Water enters the system and is pushed through a bag filter to remove debris and oils, and then on through a mesh filter to remove finer silt. The systems downpipes guarantee that oil remains free-floating, and any remaining oil is trapped in the absorbent pads. Lastly, a cartridge filter ensures that any free-floating solids are removed. The water is then pumped into the jet wash with a level control. The techn...
