The latest, approved member of the National Association of Wheelie Bin Washers (NAWBW) is Dr Wheelie Bin Ltd, based in Surrey, who use our award winning and NAWBW accredited, Morclean Bin Wash and have successfully met all of the criteria to gain accreditation to join the association.  What is the NAWBW ? The National Association of Wheelie Bin Washers represents those wheelie bin washing companies that are able to satisfy the associations entry criteria, which requires them to comply with all existing legislation and guidelines for the washing of bins using high pressure water pumps. The association aims to provide a forum to monitor and influence UK and EU Legislation with regard to the washing of wheelie bins whilst policing the industry on behalf of its members to try and improve standards within the association’s membership. We’re proud to be travelling down to the Houses of Parliament this coming Monday to be presented with our Green World Ambassador 2015 award for innovation and ‘helping others to help the environment’. The initial presentation was held in New Zealand a few weeks ago, but the UK ’s ambassadors will be attending the London event to collect their full awards in person. We sadly missed out on the Christchurch event on October 19, but we’re delighted to be picking up the award on home soil! The Green Organisation hosts the annual international campaign to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world, so it’s an honour to be placed among our fellow award winners. So we have a new Model to add to our popular and award winning BinWash range, BinWash Static, we delivered one to a hospital last week see this post.   After showing you one being delivered and set up last week, this post is to give you more information into the features of the BinWash Static.  So as with all Morclean products this BinWash is very robust and efficient, fitted with automated bin lift and water recycling as standard. The static model is designed to be fixed at one location or bin wash depot.  Simply locate the wheelie bin onto the lifting mechanism at the rear of the machine, press one button and the bin is lifted. Once elevated, the Morclean system drains the bin into a catchment tray at the same time it is being washed - in one simple process. Water is filtered and ready to re-use throughout the day. The Blue Box has officially arrived at Morclean! Here in the Morclean office we have such a buzz about this new release, from seeing this on my first day I can see why, I was really impressed. Having great in design features which make it easy to fit with minimal installation, all surface mounted so no need to disrupt the workplace with costly building work. The Blue Box only requires a power supply to operate with a simple connection consisting of one inlet from the wash bay and one outlet to a mains foul drain. Thinking about relocating? no need to stress as the Blue Box is semi portable and easy to move which can be set up in your new location. This is possible as everything is above ground making unsightly building work a thing of the past. I think this is what impressed me the most after thinking about how much disruption would be going on if it was all under ground, mess everywhere. For me Monday night mainly consisted in me setting my alarm for a super early start, by accident may I add meaning I got up half an hour before I was supposed to. Feeling better for the nice relaxing walk for my train, appose to my normal get out of the door and catch that train! We had an email a few weeks back from one of the remotest parts of the UK you can find… the Shetland Isles. They needed a unit capable of cleaning generators in environmentally friendly surroundings for some pretty urgent work. The Unit needed to be able to clean ivory coloured generators; they needed to be cleaned and de-greased ready for the winter season.
