Taking place in Matlock's Hall Leys Park the market holds around 200 stalls in two large marquees with an array of items on offer. This year's Victorian Christmas Market will take place on the first weekend in December from Friday 1st December to Sunday 3rd December. This Christmas market isn't just for shopping, there are a whole host of other activities happening throughout the weekend including Santa's grotto, Light's switch-on and fireworks on the Sunday! So, if you're stuck for something to do this weekend, why not pop and visit the shops and cafes in Matlock whilst you're there and warm up with a nice hot chocolate or glass of mulled wine? The market and activities are   free entry and opening times vary so check the Facebook page for more details.
