Ride-On vs Walk-Behind Scrubber Dryers: Which is Best for Your Cleaning Needs?

Image
Cleaning large facilities such as warehouses, supermarkets, and airports require efficient and effective cleaning equipment. Morclean's scrubber dryers, also known as floor scrubbers, are a popular choice for many commercial cleaning operations due to their ability to clean and dry floors in one pass. But with two main options, ride-on and walk-behind scrubber dryers, which one is best for your cleaning needs? Ride-On Scrubber Dryers  Ride-on scrubber dryers are typically larger in size and have a seat for the operator to sit on while cleaning. These machines are best for large areas that need to be cleaned quickly, as they have a larger cleaning width and can cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time. Additionally, the seat provides comfort for the operator, reducing fatigue and increasing productivity. Pros Faster cleaning times: Ride On scrubber dryers can clean large areas quickly, reducing cleaning times and increasing productivity. Better cleaning results: Ride On scrub...

Removing Asbestos Safely with Type H Vacuums: What You Need to Know

Image
Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral that was widely used in building construction materials due to its fire-resistant and insulating properties. However, exposure to asbestos fibres can cause serious health problems, including lung cancer and mesothelioma. When removing this carcinogenic mineral, it's essential to take the necessary precautions to minimise the risk of exposure. One of the most critical tools for safely removing asbestos is a type H vacuum cleaner. A type H vacuum cleaner is specifically designed for the safe removal of hazardous dusts, such as asbestos. These vacuums have a high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter that captures and removes 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.3 microns in size, including these fibres. By using a type H vacuum, you can significantly reduce the risk of asbestos fibres becoming airborne and potentially inhaled during the removal process. This is especially important for those involved in the removal, as inhalation can hav...

And as hard as it was getting through those scary first months, we have managed to come out fighting on the other side, with our sales increasing expontentially this year. We even opened a new and additional unit in July, that is dedicated to R&D, assembly, manufacturing and production, enabling us to devote our time to progressing the business and the products that we supply, We're always looking to stay ahead of the game by bringing customer-led, in...

The proof is in the pad at Zwolle

Image
If you read our recent When virtual solutions just aren't enough blog post, you would have observed some of the new solutions we have put in place for key clients owing to the ongoing pandemic. Below is the completed wash pad we sent to Zwolle in kit form. The canopy is yet to be installed, but this merrily confirms that we were successful in providing drawings and guides to enable our client to orchestrate their own wash pad build and installation. Transported to its destination in modular format, we sent out our new instruction manuals electronically outlining each step in detail with full-colour supporting images. This allowed the Zwolle team to set up the wash pad successfully, and with ease. If you'd like to know more about our transportable wash pad solutions, contact us on 01246 471147, or via email at info@morclean.com .
