Our installation expert, Ian Bridges, is commissioning the final fix and fit at Caenby Corner this week, which  consists of a reclaim system, a  zone injection system, a  10cum3 wash bay 3 stage interceptor, a  ST2000 silt trap, a d iverter chamber with air, and a  10cum3 storage tank. Along with the installation of t wo oil-fired static hot water jet washers, two  user posts to install on wash pad s, a  fitted-out plant room, two   remotes for the user posts, and two hose guns and a lance.  This final phase includes commissioning the equipment, terminating pipework and connections, sealing joints, capping off any ducting, and making good. Work for a well-known sustainable car company located at a site in Gatwick has started this week. This new wash pad fit project is programmed in for five days and will include  the installation of a surface-mounted wash pad, w ash canopy, a bove ground interceptor, i ntegral plant room/tech room and a p ump chamber to foul which is 40m away. A few images, during sign-off, of our recent project in Chester, where we installed a surface-mounted vehicle wash pad and interceptor for a high-end electric car manufacturer. Our surface mounted wash pads are perfect for environments where groundworks are impracticable, or where there is a chance that the company may need to relocate. Quick and simple to install and dismantle, these wash pads ensure that all the wastewater is captured within a drain and a surface mounted sump pump. When we're undertaking large projects, we separate the associated work into separate phases to make the project more manageable all-round. With Phase 1 of our Cardiff project already completed, tested, and signed off, we're now well into Phase 2, the plant room fit-out. Phase 1 involved the installation of our innovative surface-mounted wash pad, a Morclean BlueBox water treatment system, and putting the associated pipework in place, whilst Phase 2 , which is being progressed by the Morclean Team as I type, rumbles along nicely in the new plant room. Phase 3 will see the completion of the cladding and roof to the wash bay, which will encase the entire structure to  protect the surrounding area from over-spray of water or detergent and to contain any particles of debris from the item being cleaned. Aside from our East Lothian project, we've also start Phase 1 of our Cardiff project today, with the wash pad and steel portal already in place. This South Wales-based project involves the installation of a 40M2 surface mounted fully fitted wash bay, plant room, tech room, drainage, and water treatment in 3 separate phases. The wash bay will be totally surface mounted, which means zero excavation or civil works, and no groundworks or dilapidation. This means also means that our surface-mounted wash pads are perfect for numerous environments including those where there are no foundations, such as multi-story car parks and dual-level parking decks, or sites where groundworks are impractical. We' re already lining up projects for Spring 2021,  and are extremely excited about our new and upcoming vehicle wash project in Denbighshire, for the washing of  refuse trucks and council vehicles. This project will involve a whole host of works, including supply, civils, installation of a water management system (silt trap, GRP plant room, advanced media filter), a cleaning system (twin hot water cabinet jet wash, user posts, hose reels), and below ground items (interceptor, silt trap, buffer tank), alongside ongoing services. Above and below are examples of a past project we undertook, which is very similar to the works that will be undertaken in North East Wales. Our  Morclean H&S Station will also be delivered to the site prior to the start of the works... Phew, what a welcome challenge to hopefully a more positive year for everyone.  Roll on 2021!
