Morclean's new Vision CMF Steam Pro Compact Steam Cleaner and Vision SF Steam Pro Fogging Device defies the negativity surrounding the fogging process. Various sources on the internet state that "the practices of fogging, fumigation and wide-area or electrostatic spraying are not recommended as a primary method of disinfection" (ECJ, 2021). As Ward (2020) informed us back in March that “COVID-19 can survive on surfaces, such as worktops or door handles, for up to three days”, we had to be equipped with the right knowledge - and the right tools - to defend ourselves. While graffiti is a statement of expression for some, for others it is an unwanted, unsightly mess. Deeply i ngrained paint is one of the toughest things to remove from walls, buildings and alleyways. Porous surfaces such as brick and stone tend to absorb solvent-based spray paints, which usually require pressure washing or sandblasting to remove the offending artwork. Paint thinners and chemicals seem like a cheap and tempting alternative to the above methods, however, they tend to spread the paint and make exacerbate the problem, whereas many narrow tipped pressure jet washers can leave a visible outline of the graffiti, and sandblasters can permanently mark the surface if the tip isn't moved over the graffiti constantly. Whilst most people know what steam cleaning is and how it works, many people don’t understand the difference between Steam Cleaning and Vapour Steam cleaning. Vapour Steam Cleaners   are the modern-day evolution of the standard Steam Cleaner, producing quick-drying, low-water consumption steam.  Extensively used within hospitals, restaurants, care homes, etc., the vapour steam process is effective enough to disinfect and sterilize surfaces without the need for harsh chemicals. We're delighted to announce the arrival of the new 2019 product test and trial from Morclean’s R&D! So, what’s this all about? More recently manufacturers have also added batteries to replace the energy needed, which can be expensive, large and heavy. The Planet-Loving Way to Remove Graffiti & Gum As the way, we treat our planet is becoming more of a problematic the topic each year, it’s important that we all do our bit to be kinder to our home; it is the only one we have after all. One of the issues that we, as a society, need to address, is the way that we approach cleaning. We all love that feeling of getting stuck in and our hands dirty with a good clean and sometimes it’s absolutely necessary, but do we ever stop and really think about all of the harmful chemicals and solvents that we’re voluntarily polluting our air and water supply with? This time last week the Morclean team were busy busy busy chatting with Cleaning Show 2019 go-ers about our brand new ThermaSteam. So let's reflect on the show... Usually, we bring the BinWash along with us to the show but this year was a little different. Unless you've been hiding your head in the sand for the last few weeks, you'll have heard of the 'pandemic' Ebola virus which is sweeping not only West Africa, but is now feared to have spread even further. We had an email a few weeks back from one of the remotest parts of the UK you can find… the Shetland Isles. They needed a unit capable of cleaning generators in environmentally friendly surroundings for some pretty urgent work. The Unit needed to be able to clean ivory coloured generators; they needed to be cleaned and de-greased ready for the winter season.
