Last week we mentioned that we had an AUTO bin wash machine in the work shop just having the final touches added. Well, today it is on it's way to it's new home!  Below you can see the brand new AUTO bin wash being loaded and safely shipped to a site in Edinburgh.  The Morclean team will actually head up to the hospital in Edinburgh later this week to fully install the AUTO, which is part of the great customer service we are always happy to provide.  The AUTO features a fully automated system of bin washing, and can effortlessly clean wheeled bins up to 1100 litres capacity. The cleaning mechanism included twin rotary heads which easily clean the bin at a touch of a button.  There is also the benefit of using contained recycled water, which is more important than ever that we have to be conscious of our water usage, without compromising on cleanliness or freshness of the bin.  The AUTO particularly suits a hospital environment as they are a static machine that can wash a numbe

Another Morclean surface mounted wash pad and blue box was just loaded up and ready to be shipped off! This was a swelteringly hot day so the team managed to get this loaded by 7.30 in the morning, which was definitely the cooler part of the day!  The wash modular pad will be installed later on this week by the team. We also give it a thorough test run through and also a training hand over to our customer.  The surface mounted wash pads are CE marked and contain and dispose of water in keeping with the current legislations. They are so convenient because there is no need for any excavation or below ground installations. These of course are not always possible on some sites, not to mention super costly and time-consuming! So the surface mounted wash pad is a perfect problem solver here.  Let's innovate.

As it has been so hot lately, we need to be thinking about or water usage. Hose pipe bans are potentially one of those things that could come into effect, and this limits pressure water usage.   One way to combat this is Low Volume High Pressure Cleaners. The Morclean Hybrid Series of hot water cleaners use just 7.5 litres of water per minute. Bearing in mind that traditional machines use between 15-21 litres, the hourly volumes reduce from 900-1260 to less than litres by comparison. A huge amount of difference!  This reduced water usage is also great for sites where drainage is limited or water reclaim is required. One of our ever popular ecoflex wash pad has just been installed by the team!  This particular wash pads is going to be used for washing off fork lift trucks and other equipment used on ports.  The area measures 9m x 6m and is a water tight containment area. This provides a surface mounted and handily relocatable wash area that contains the contaminated outflow.  When disposing of waste water it requires careful planning to keep in compliance with regulations, and the wash pad allows this effortlessly, as it contains all the water and helps dispose of it easily and safely.   The eco flex wash pads are durable, chemical-resistant and can be manufactured on a bespoke basis in various materials.   Here at Morclean we absolutely love having our own dedicated manufacturing space, where we can build our award winning wheelie bin washes.  This week we have a BinWash AUTO that is nearly ready to go - just the final touches are being added to it.  The AUTO is, of course, an automatic bin wash and is designed specifically for cleaning the EU wheelie bins of any size - the really BIG ones too! Wheelie bins of any size can be lifted with ease with the hydraulic lift, and lowered gently so there is no manual handling of the bins required. The system operates rotary cleaning heads, which do a fantastic job of thoroughly cleaning the inside of the wheelie bins, and there is no manual cleaning required by the operator at all. Just the press of ONE button does all the work! The smart thing about the AUTO is that is also contains the wash water and any overspray within the machine, so there is no contact of the waste water at all when operating - which when the water is contaminated and dirt

Just last week we safely saw off one of Morclean's ThermaSteam machines, going all the way to Saudi Arabia. This was a custom built machine with bespoke requests made especially for the customers. Yet another Sprint is on its way to its new owner!  One of our latest machines is ready to be picked up by their owner. Sprints are proving very popular since their release just a few weeks ago! It's easy to see why, as everything sits neatly inside your panel van of choice.  The Sprint is a van mounted bin washing machine, designed to fit perfectly inside a van - typically a Ford Transit van, but it would also fit nicely in a Nissan, Vauxhall or Renault panel van.  This 2019 Transit Custom was bought by the customer and dropped off with us so we could safely install the wheelie bin wash equipment. It was left with us for just a few days so we could crack on with the installation!  We proceed to build the machine and git it all inside the van, taking note of any custom requirements that may have been requested.  Guastalla’s Charity Slow Race 2022 This September sees the return of the slowest race you've ever seen!  Taking place in Guastalla, Italy, this is where several racers compete to be the LAST over the line! Hosted by our friend, Gino, this is a fantastic event that raises thousands of pounds for charity. Our MD Peter Morley, is hoping to also tale part in the Slow Race and raise money for the Italian Charity, and also for an equivalent charity in the UK.  We will be back with updates on where you can keep up with the race and donate.  It's amazing to see all kinds of beautiful cars on the roads of Guastalla, including Gino's famous green Fiat 500! Of course this race is all about how slow you can go, and last place is the coveted spot. Locals gather around the  main square of Piazza Mazzini, and love to cheer on the slow race!  A huge thank you if you have sponsored or donated to this great event before. In the manufacturing area this week we have a bespoke build of the Custom Wheelie Bin Wash . Its actually going to Chester Zoo! I'm sure it will be put to excellent use - whether it's used to clean the bins for the animal enclosures or the public areas around the property.  This is a custom build, so we worked closely with the customer to create the perfect machine to suit their needs. This involves a consultation with the customer, and then a few weeks build time whilst we create the bespoke model in house.   This particular machine is electrically driven, with no diesel or petrol engine.  This means that there will be virtually no noise - so that the machine can quietly clean away without distracting or distressing any animals, or customers.  The electric driven aspect also means no fumes - again great for this particular environment as you do not want engine fumes wafting across the beautiful zoo environment.  There will be electric on site so it can just plug in easily and
