Yet Another Project Almost Signed, Sealed and Delivered

Image
As we're nearing completion and handover of Phase 3 of our Project Cardiff, for a high-end  electric vehicle and clean energy company , we thought we'd share a few photos to show our teams progress at this impressive site. The beauty of this impressive system is that it eradicates the need for any excavation or below groundworks, which can be very expensive, time-consuming and often impossible  The wash bay comes complete with  a surface mounted wash pad, fully-fitted plant room for jet wash, compressor and water treatment, alongside polycarb side screens and a full wash canopy! ALL with zero groundworks or excavation for silt traps or interceptors, this is a top-grade install, which meets the demands of our clients! Work Begins on Project Langar for New Wash Bay Facility

Image
Another new wash bay project starts today, this time in Langar, Nottinghamshire, for a well-known company  that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, to name a few.   The  Morclean  team are currently marking out and saw cutting on-site, to follow with excavating for a silt trap, pump chamber, interceptor, and plant room. The wash bay is to be kerbed all round and e nveloped to a 2000mm x 500mm x 1000mm silt trap. We will also be supplying and installing a 650mm x 1000mm PC2000 pump chamber, and the s ilt trap is to pumped to an above-ground interceptor -  all including  the moving and refitting of the GRP plant room and interceptor from their previous depot. Alongside this we will be installing 110mm ducts for power and water,  110mm ducts for 2 hose reels, a trench to manhole for drain outlet, and we are to then backfill and make good, and remove all waste from site. It's Going to be a Busy, Yet Exciting Year for the Morclean Team!

Image
With over twenty projects at the quoting, planning, or prepping stage, we're all geared up for our busiest year ever.  From Glasgow to Germany, and Stevenage to Spain, we've had a record number of  inquiries for  wash bay, wash pad, jet wash, and interceptor installs  throughout the UK, Scotland, and Europe. Our first project, in East Lothian at the very beginning of March, is a turnkey project that will involve  excavation and civil works to install a new silt trap and pump  chamber, a plant room, and an interceptor, alongside two huge 20CuM3 tanks and a separator. Phew, it's a big job but the type of project we thrive on.   Once we've completed this Scotland based project, we're off to Nottingham to install yet another silt trap, pump chamber, plant room, and interceptor, alongside a brand new jet wash... but more about that later. For now, we'll concentrate on East Lothian, bringing you regular updates throughout each phase.  To see ou...

East Lothian Wash Bay Project Scheduled for a Spring Start

Image
The Morclean team has been involved in the planning and design of a new wash bay plant on a site in East Lothian for over a year, but after a somewhat tumultuous period of time, we're now ready to make a start in Spring.  The turnkey project will involve excavation and civil works to install two large 20CuM3 interceptors, and an additional separator, with a complete wash bay to follow. The wash bay is to be squared off, which should result in; less unusable space  utilisation of levels that lend themselves to its orientation less surface water running onto the wash pad better/easier turning circles for the vehicles  Morclean is to saw cut and peck out the area, ensuring that it is fully  isolated, whilst following stringent Health & Safety (H&S) procedures throughout. Successful Wash Pad Installation for Local 4x4 Vehicle Styling Company

The Clay Cross based business converts 4x4 pickups [mainly Ford Ranger], specialising in seat conversions, fitting body kits, numberplate centralisation, and so on. The wash bay is totally suitable for the number of vehicles being washed on a daily basis, and all wastewater to be discharged to the drains. 5 Reasons you NEED a Morclean Wash Pad...

Image
If you are familiar with the car washing business, you should already know that w hen a car washing or vehicle washing company produces wastewater in one way or another, by law, it has to be contained and possibly recycled or removed, it cannot go straight down a surface drain. The clever egg-heads at Morclean have come up with the perfect solution to this issue, in the form of the Morclean Wash Pad... And here are 5 reasons you absolutely NEED one. Morclean Wash Pad The Wash Pad is a sealed bund - Made from a mixture of welded plastics and fibreglass panels, making a solid, impermeable and dedicated liquid containment area for tough applications. It satisfies the current legislation for the containment and disposal of water from a wash bay - It captures all the water into a 50mm drain which can be discharged to foul, partially treated in a Morclean BlueBox or GreyBox  pumped to a water reclaim system . The Wash Pad is ideal for leasehold or sensitive sites such a...

Wash pad goes to motorbike repair centre

Image
One of our vehicle wash pads has gone to a large motorbike repair company based in Egham. The surface mounted wash pad is a solution to heavy duty environments where a high volume of vehicles needs to be washed. The wash pad is a surface mounted system which means the operator can avoid excavation or the need to have any items installed below ground. This is ideal for leasehold or sensitive sites such as a multi-storey car park where ground works are not practical. The wash pad can be tailored and designed to your specifications. Interceptor VS BlueBox - "Machine off"

Image
The Battle is ON in today's machine off, INTERCEPTOR vs BLUEBOX!   So before you get your bets in lets go through each and compare, starting with the   INTERCEPTOR. You don't know what an Interceptor is? well take a look here this is how it could look when the work starts at your work place... An Interceptor is an underground water treatment system which disposes of the Water from a Wash bay, Car Wash.  So if you go for the interceptor, you have a lot of building work to tackle on your way into the office! Mind your step!  This building work you see can be costly and also take weeks or even months to complete, also if you're thinking about moving then you will have to say goodbye to your Interceptor. Sadly once installed its very tricky to relocate, its all under ground as you can see below so once its covered you won't see it again. The Interceptor comes in different capacity's from 2000-20,000 Litres, so if you decided to upg...
