Air Vacuums get scooped up by big manufacturer

Image
The MAV Air Vacuums are proving to be very popular at the moment with a recent shipment going to another big manufacturer of biscuits in the North West. This is the second biscuit company to purchase a MAV2 air vacuum this month, and we can see why- they're brilliant for picking up crumbs and potentially explosive materials.

On top of supplying the air-powered vacuum to household-famous biscuit manufacturers we have also supplied the model to one of the biggest food contract cleaning companies based in Merseyside.

New Silt Trap range to be introduced in 2017

Image
Product Development Here at Morclean we are always adding and improving to the range of stock we offer to our customers- and 2017 will be no exception.

At the beginning of next year we will be releasing a new Silt Trap range which will be aimed at smaller car wash operations or busy car wash and valeting sites.

The new range will bring a host of new advantages including D400 gratings and a wider variety of sizes. The main advantage will be their strength and the ability to install them in a granular surround instead of concrete. This will save money when it's come to civil costs.

We've standardised the production of this range to avoid building to order and so that we can keep more stock and easily supply on demand.

Keep posted for a release date, and as always if you have any questions get in touch with us.

Matlock Victorian Christmas Market

This year marked the 23rd year the market took place and boasted around 200 stall in 2 marquees across the park. Entertainment was provided throughout the three days with a mix of old favourites and new surprises for 2016- a great event for all of the family.

The weekend's highlights included Santa's Grotto, a Christmas parade and a celebrity light switch-on. The town was bustling and a total of 25,000 people attended over the 3 days. Local radio station Smooth FM also attended and played music at the event.

We enjoyed helping out at this great community event and were happy to lend a helping hand with the organisation and management. Local businesses really benefited from the fair with the town's cafes and shops heaving throughout the duration of the event.

On the Facebook group page for the event there are many positiv…

We’ve met new faces at shows around the continent, and also have made sure we’ve stayed grounded and done our part for local businesses and lent a hand at community events.
Here at Morclean we enjoy attending shows tailored to our industry and meeting like-minded business folk and discussing ideas. This year has been no different and we have attended the Cleaning Show in Manchester and the ISSA Interclean in Amsterdam, in which we had a great success demonstrating our Bin Wash machine and strumming up leads. Airvac machines head up North

Image
Last week we were confronted by a Whiskey distillery in Scotland that needed a vacuum capable of picking up droplets of liquid. Baring in mind that the liquid in question is quite a high percentage of alcohol, we used our expertise to recommend the Wet/Dry Air Vac.

Operating on air and suitable for sucking up water quickly and effectively, the Air Vac fulfills the Distillery's need and they placed an initial order of three.

A week later they have placed another order with us- obviously an impressed customer!

Morclean provide drainage solution to cider factory

Image
Morclean Interceptor Heads to Cider Factory

Morclean were confronted by a Cider Factory in Hereford with the vision of installing equipment to help their drainage systems, in particular a system which would collect an excessive amount of waste water should a major leak occur.

During normal operations the daily amount of waste water from the cider process is relatively small, comprising of excess water from washing down storage vats and equipment. Although a major leak had never occurred, they wanted to make a provision in their design for handling such an occurrence.

To limit the outflow and control the spillage we suggested installing an interceptor tank with pumps and a control panel. This was designed with our specialist experience and solved the problem originally faced at the factory.
