Going Modular in Montpellier

Image
We're getting an 8x5 Surface Mounted Vehicle Wash Pad, a Pump Box, XL Ramps, an SG3 pump chamber, and a BioX Treatment System all packaged up this week, ready for their overseas journey to Montpellier in the South of France next week. Providing the perfect solution for a well-known electric car company. The wash pads modular design, where the  components are separated into smaller units for shipping and transporting, can quickly and easily be assembled by the contractor once they have been received on site. We have produced electronic instruction manuals and video tutorials for step-by-step assembly, to round everything off, and even online training to assist the European sub-contractors where required.  All of this allows for easy installation by others because the technical side of things has been done at this end ready to connect together.  ✔️  Making life simpler.  ✔️  Making progress possible.  ✔️  Making overseas partnerships work. The proof is in the pad at Zwolle

Image
If you read our recent When virtual solutions just aren't enough blog post, you would have observed some of the new solutions we have put in place for key clients owing to the ongoing pandemic. Below is the completed wash pad we sent to Zwolle in kit form. The canopy is yet to be installed, but this merrily confirms that we were successful in providing drawings and guides to enable our client to orchestrate their own wash pad build and installation. Transported to its destination in modular format, we sent out our new instruction manuals electronically outlining each step in detail with full-colour supporting images. This allowed the Zwolle team to set up the wash pad successfully, and with ease. If you'd like to know more about our transportable wash pad solutions, contact us on 01246 471147, or via email at info@morclean.com . When virtual solutions just aren't enough

Many businesses faced changes and challenges due to the Covid-19 epidemic. This included travel restrictions, q uarantine, a significant number of cancelled flights and ferry crossings, staff sick or isolating, restricted access to sites, and many other reasons.   Virtual a lternatives in many firms have included Zoom, MS teams, minimised contact,  w3w to site survey , drones and 3D imaging to survey sites.  However, within a   non-virtual space .  physical items still needed to be installed such as wash pads, water treatment solutions (including our Blue Box and Biox systems). canopies and wash bays.   Business as usual!  Key Industries were still operating and we had to find ways around the restrictions, ways that can't be replaced with "virtual".  One of our biggest challenges was addressing overseas project enquiries. We  had ten European sites that needed answers and a solution, but it was impossible to attend the s...

Iain has rented four workshops over the past 13 years for his business, and in the former three, he had works undertaken to remove 4 cubes of concrete in the floor, install a new soil pipe and drain, and re-lay new concrete in the washbasin. Morclean provide drainage solution to cider factory

Image
Morclean Interceptor Heads to Cider Factory Morclean were confronted by a Cider Factory in Hereford with the vision of installing equipment to help their drainage systems, in particular a system which would collect an excessive amount of waste water should a major leak occur. During normal operations the daily amount of waste water from the cider process is relatively small, comprising of excess water from washing down storage vats and equipment. Although a major leak had never occurred, they wanted to make a provision in their design for handling such an occurrence. To limit the outflow and control the spillage we suggested installing an interceptor tank with pumps and a control panel. This was designed with our specialist experience and solved the problem originally faced at the factory.   The 10,000 litre tank getting prepared for transit by Keith. The control panel designed for the project.  Morclean has extensive experience of des...
