Warrington wash bay installation optimising operations

Image
And the photos are in! We very recently delivered and installed a massive screened canopy and industrial truck wash bay for one of the world's most successful intralogistics companies, that provides cost-effective products, systems and services for every business requirement. This Warrington based business was searching for an enclosed wash bay solution for cleaning down its huge fleet of forklift trucks, and this fully functional design ticks all the boxes in terms of size, practicality, and configuration.  The 8 x 6 m pad was constructed first and the large screened canopy placed around it. A previous wash pad installation Project 1  will see the installation of a 6x4 m reinforced wash pad, a 4m reinforced ramp, and an A/G 6000L interceptor at a pre-construction company located in Wakefield. Successful completion of Project Langar in photo form

Image
We take pride in everything we do, and our projects are a prime example of the precision we always strive to achieve. Take, for example, our recent wash bay installation in Nottinghamshire, where we relocated some of the client's original wash bay equipment from their previous installation, alongside the preparation, excavation, and concrete pour,  Completed last week, the project entailed the i nstallation of a GRP silt trap, a pump and interceptor complete with all ducting & pipework, levelling off the existing surface, and the construction of 20m X 10m concrete bay for the wash area, and all complete with two user posts and hose reels for jet washing. Photographed from start to finish, each stage has been meticulously undertaken  and we're thrilled with the results. Marketing Mucks in at Project Langar

Image
All was quiet on the social front yesterday, as I embarked on a s ite visit to take photos  of project delivery progress at our Langar project in Nottingham. It's the first time I've seen the excavation stage of a wash bay installation up close and personal, and it was a fascinatingly valuable experience. Health and Safety First Upon approaching Morclean's cordoned-off area, which is under full ownership and control of Morclean or it's subcontractors during works, a vivid blue Morclean H&S station sat at the entrance to the site, The H&S station comes  complete with a visitor and contractor signing-in record book, HSE law poster, first aid box, fire extinguisher, and an accident book, together with a fully stocked first aid kit, As an accredited Safe Contractor, Morclean is fully dedicated to ensuring that health & safety procedures are regularly upgraded and updated in line with legislation, and our H&S Station ticks all of the regulation boxes....

Are you afraid to embrace change?

Image
Change can be a daunting prospect, especially when you allow fear to control how you make your decisions. Many of us are creatures of habit, to a degree, so sometimes change has to be a slow and gradual process. Other times you just have to take a satisfying leap of faith. Take, for example, the cleaning equipment that you purchase. You’re in need of a new cleaning machine and you’ve been with your current machine supplier for as long as you can remember. You know your machines to the letter - how to operate them, the type of service you will receive if an issue arises... You don’t want to feel disloyal by changing suppliers, but you recognise that there may be a solution out there that better suits your purpose. If you’re sceptical of change, you don’t know what you could be missing out on. Here at Morclean, we offer a comprehensive range of industrial cleaning equipment solutions, whether you’re an established business or a budding entrepreneur looking to start-up your own bin cleani...

We're Still on Track... Morclean Celebrates Project Progress

Image
Morclean’s vehicle wash bay projects are a fundamental part of the business. S ince the turn of the new century - f rom concept and design, right through to civils and installation - our team has delivered countless successful turnkey projects throughout the UK and beyond  with a gritty determination and focus to deliver on time, and on budget. From Morclean's early beginnings as a supplier of mobile hot water jet wash machines, we eventually added hot static/fixed hot water machines to our portfolio in the late 80’s. In the early '90s, we began supplying fuel tanks and accessories - such as hose reels, user posts, remote controls, etc. - with the machine.  We continued to evolve, supplying housing/GRP, gantries, silt traps, interceptors, and water reclaim systems.  Then, in the early 2000s, Morclean did one of its early civils projects, where the team installed silt traps, interceptors, and a wash bay. We were hooked! Gradually increasing our workload year-on-yea...
