Project Crick Wash Bay Installation Update

Image
With Phase 1 of Project Crick all complete, we're now on to Phase 2 of this exciting Northamptonshire based project. We recently informed you of a new project that we're undertaking for  one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and service providers of superior cleaning technology.  Involving the installation of  twin/double wash bays, t he  kerbing of the 12 x 12m large wash bay area is underway, as it the 6  x 4m area for the second one.  We're also set to install a 2m long silt trap in the large wash bay, and  a 1m silt trap into the smaller one.  The w ash bay interceptor is to follow, along with the connection  of both silt traps to the interceptor. This interceptor will then be conntected to foul drain, and the  silt traps and the interceptor will be back-filled.  Concrete will be poured into both wash bays and they will be laid to falls, whilst concrete will also be poured to form a slab for the plant room, with brush ...

Site Clearance at Project Crick

Image
We're all fired up for our most recent Wash Bay installation project, for a company located in Northampton that  provides a quality total cleaning solution for domestic and commerical industries alike. Phase 1 of the Crick based project had already commenced, ecompassing complete site clearance, including the digging out and removal of trees, with excavation and levelling to begin as soon as the site is completely clear. This will involve r emoving soil and stone from the 12m x 12m area  (144m2), taking levels and marking out the wash bay.  Phase 2 will consist of the installation of silt traps and an interceptor for a double wash bay, and the placement of a kerb around the 12 x 12m area, whilst Phase 3 , the final phase, will see   the installation of the screens. Successful completion of Project Langar in photo form

Image
We take pride in everything we do, and our projects are a prime example of the precision we always strive to achieve. Take, for example, our recent wash bay installation in Nottinghamshire, where we relocated some of the client's original wash bay equipment from their previous installation, alongside the preparation, excavation, and concrete pour,  Completed last week, the project entailed the i nstallation of a GRP silt trap, a pump and interceptor complete with all ducting & pipework, levelling off the existing surface, and the construction of 20m X 10m concrete bay for the wash area, and all complete with two user posts and hose reels for jet washing. Photographed from start to finish, each stage has been meticulously undertaken  and we're thrilled with the results. To dig deeper into our various wash bay solutions, contact us on 01246 471147, or at  info@morclean.com , or simply visit our  website  today .  Still undecided? Take a look...

Marketing Mucks in at Project Langar

Image
All was quiet on the social front yesterday, as I embarked on a s ite visit to take photos  of project delivery progress at our Langar project in Nottingham. It's the first time I've seen the excavation stage of a wash bay installation up close and personal, and it was a fascinatingly valuable experience. Health and Safety First Upon approaching Morclean's cordoned-off area, which is under full ownership and control of Morclean or it's subcontractors during works, a vivid blue Morclean H&S station sat at the entrance to the site, The H&S station comes  complete with a visitor and contractor signing-in record book, HSE law poster, first aid box, fire extinguisher, and an accident book, together with a fully stocked first aid kit, As an accredited Safe Contractor, Morclean is fully dedicated to ensuring that health & safety procedures are regularly upgraded and updated in line with legislation, and our H&S Station ticks all of the regulation boxes....

High-Capacity Excavation and Installation at Tranent Site in East Lothian

Image
We're always thrilled when we're advancing projects, and one of our current projects [in East Lothian], which includes the excavation and installation of a 20,000-litre capacity silt trap and a  20,000-litre capacity  interceptor, is well underway and on target.   The site at Tranent has been excavated and the 20CuM3 tanks installed. An additional separator will be installed in Phase 2 alongside a circa 250M2 concrete wash pad.  Phase 3 will then see the installation of two all-electric high-pressure cleaners featuring zero emissions and C02 clean and green fume-free technology to complete this waste transfer site on time! Morclean Battling the Weather at Worcester

Image
We're now three-quarters of the way through our Worcester project, and despite the inconsistent and rather grim weather we've been experiencing these past few weeks, we're pretty much on track to be finished by the Friday or, at the very latest, the beginning of next week - rain permitting! The UK's unpredictable downpours have meant that concrete deliveries have been postponed, but Project Worcester is almost complete, with the Morclean Team doing all they can to handover this wash bay on time. Morclean Secures New Wash Pad and Interceptor installation Project for the Washing of Heavy Duty Generators

Image
Always looking ahead, we have another exciting new project penciled in for a mid-October start.  A builders yard in Worcester, which is currently vacated, is set to be a brand new location for a power generator firm that will be washing heavy-duty generators.  Once the site survey has been undertaken, Morclean is to saw cut and excavate for the installation of a silt trap, interceptor, and wash pad, with s ome of these elements being placed above-ground to reduce excavation. The project will come complete with user posts and hose reels for jet washing.  Here's some before pics...               ...and we're looking forward to posting our project updates throughout the second half of October  👍 Visit us here  for more information on our range of vehicle wash systems, or please get in touch on 01246 471147 to speak our experienced sales team.

Vehicle wash pads go to large car transportation hub in the South West

Image
Two vehicle wash pads are due to go to a large global transporting company based in the South West of England.   The wash mat is a surface mounted system which means the operator can avoid excavation or the need to have any items installed below ground. This is ideal for leasehold or sensitive sites such as a multi storey car park where ground works are not practical. The Morclean permanent wash pad is made from a mixture of rigid fibreglass panels and welded plastics. The wash mat is therefore is a sealed bund that will replace traditional concrete wash pads. The wash pad avoids excavation and civil works, and there are virtually zero builders works, disturbance to the ground. Our team can generally install a wash pad within hours with minimal fuss or inconvenience.

Wash pad goes to motorbike repair centre

One of our vehicle wash pads has gone to a large motorbike repair company based in Egham. The surface mounted wash pad is a solution to heavy duty environments where a high volume of vehicles needs to be washed. The wash pad is a surface mounted system which means the operator can avoid excavation or the need to have any items installed below ground. This is ideal for leasehold or sensitive sites such as a multi-storey car park where ground works are not practical. The wash pad can be tailored and designed to your specifications. New Innovation. Not just an Above Ground Interceptor

Image
Here at Morclean we've been working hard for over 5 years, developing new and innovative products First came the BlueBox, a totally surface mounted system that eliminates the need for an interceptor. It was closely followed by our GreyBox, which also negates the need for civil works, mess and excavation. Both systems are often installed (but not conditionally) with our hugely successful wash pad. Another totally surface mounted product. In order to explain what these products do, and the time and effort they save, we have to share with you (in pictures) the traditional way that involves excavation and civil works.  These are images taken at a project we managed, some time before we designed a better way of treating vehicle wash water, and the below installation took around 2 weeks to complete These are images taken at a project we managed, some time before we designed a better way of treating vehicle wash water. The installation for this underground/ traditional inter...
