From the incredible research and development ideas that I've seen put on the table, all the way through to them being designed, developed and manufactured into actual systems, the passion for what they do here has enabled me to get fully entrenched in the cleaning industry. Even throughout lockdown, the team held their heads high and dealt with whatever situation they were faced with. And as hard as it was getting through those scary first months, we have managed to come out fighting on the other side, with our sales increasing expontentially this year. The Morclean Bin Wash machine has recently had a mini makeover so we thought we’d share this with you. The Bin Wash machine now has a laser cut ‘MORCLEAN’ logo both where the bins hook onto the machine to be cleaned, and on the front of the machine near the tank. We have also added in a little section where your chemical squirt bottle / freshener can be placed so the bottle is stable whilst cleaning bins and moving the trailer. The journey to Australia takes the Binwash 6 weeks, over 12 separate pieces of water! Ahoy there! As yet another one of our Binwash machines packs its suitcase and leaves the premises, we decided to track its journey to show you just how far the machines actually travel. With over 10,000miles as the crow flies from Hull to Brisbane to travel (so way over 15,000miles by sea), the Binwash takes around 6 weeks to sail the several seas, oceans, bays and channels to arrive at its destination. To give you a bit more of a breakdown, the journey for Hull to Brisbane, QL, covers around 12 different areas of water. Here's a run down of its long journey ahead... The Binwash leaves Hull and travels down the North Sea. It crosses the English Channel then; dips its toes in the Celtic Sea. It narrowly makes contact with the dreaded Bay of Biscay; then travels down through the North Atlantic Ocean. It makes contact with the Gulf of Guinea then; Travels south through the South Atla...

It's only 11 weeks now until ISSA Interclean RAI 2014 in Amsterdam and we're hard at work in marketing prepping for the event.. I've even had to draft in extra workers! Morclean Bear has been hard at work helping me prepare a checklist of things to complete before we go... we'd best get back to it! This week we're in  Poland with our new Bin Wash machine; our journey is mapped out below... Our Polish Adventures continue this week From Tuesday 18th - Thursday 20th February our Bin Wash Machine will be taking a little tour of Poland. The journey begins on Tuesday in Bydgoszcz where we will stay overnight. We will then drive over to Poznan for Wednesday morning and then to Gorzow Wielkopolski where we will stay overnight until Thursday Morning. Thursday will bring another day of touring through the Polish countryside - Walcz, Rila and Wyrzysk amongst some of the places we will visit, and then it's back to Bydgoszcz to begin the journey home. If you see our van or machine out and about around Poland, give us a wave! We will hopefully have some photos to share with you next week.

... we wish we had that in our advertising budget! But seriously, it's amazing what you can do with a few graphics. According to my little table on my desk, today sees the Biathlon, Cross Country, Freestyle Skiing, Luge, Snowboarding, Ski Jumping and Speed Skating. It looks like we've got a few medal hopefuls coming up in the next few days. More Morclean Olympics inspired graphics coming soon! 

With only 3 days left until the Winter Olympics 2014 kicks off in Sochi, Russia the Morclean office is getting into the Olympic spirit! Our logo has had an icy and sport-inspired makeover for the  Quadrennial  event which starts on Friday. Whilst our medal chances look a little bleak compared to the record breaking amount of medals in 2012, we're still in with a shot in the curling and speed skating as usual, as well as having great chances in the freestyle skiing, bobsleigh, skeleton and snowboarding. My personal favourite to watch is the figure skating so I'll be tuned into that all weekend, how about you?
