Yet Another Project Almost Signed, Sealed and Delivered

Image
As we're nearing completion and handover of Phase 3 of our Project Cardiff, for a high-end  electric vehicle and clean energy company , we thought we'd share a few photos to show our teams progress at this impressive site. The beauty of this impressive system is that it eradicates the need for any excavation or below groundworks, which can be very expensive, time-consuming and often impossible  The wash bay comes complete with  a surface mounted wash pad, fully-fitted plant room for jet wash, compressor and water treatment, alongside polycarb side screens and a full wash canopy! ALL with zero groundworks or excavation for silt traps or interceptors, this is a top-grade install, which meets the demands of our clients! Chester Wash Pad Signed, Sealed and Snapped

Image
A few images, during sign-off, of our recent project in Chester, where we installed a surface-mounted vehicle wash pad and interceptor for a high-end electric car manufacturer. Our surface mounted wash pads are perfect for environments where groundworks are impracticable, or where there is a chance that the company may need to relocate. Quick and simple to install and dismantle, these wash pads ensure that all the wastewater is captured within a drain and a surface mounted sump pump. This can then either be discharged to foul, partially treated via a Morclean BlueBox/GreyBox, or pumped to a water reclaim system. High-Capacity Excavation and Installation at Tranent Site in East Lothian

Image
We're always thrilled when we're advancing projects, and one of our current projects [in East Lothian], which includes the excavation and installation of a 20,000-litre capacity silt trap and a  20,000-litre capacity  interceptor, is well underway and on target.   The site at Tranent has been excavated and the 20CuM3 tanks installed. An additional separator will be installed in Phase 2 alongside a circa 250M2 concrete wash pad.  Phase 3 will then see the installation of two all-electric high-pressure cleaners featuring zero emissions and C02 clean and green fume-free technology to complete this waste transfer site on time! Work Begins on Project Langar for New Wash Bay Facility

Image
Another new wash bay project starts today, this time in Langar, Nottinghamshire, for a well-known company  that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, to name a few.   The  Morclean  team are currently marking out and saw cutting on-site, to follow with excavating for a silt trap, pump chamber, interceptor, and plant room. The wash bay is to be kerbed all round and e nveloped to a 2000mm x 500mm x 1000mm silt trap. We will also be supplying and installing a 650mm x 1000mm PC2000 pump chamber, and the s ilt trap is to pumped to an above-ground interceptor -  all including  the moving and refitting of the GRP plant room and interceptor from their previous depot. Alongside this we will be installing 110mm ducts for power and water,  110mm ducts for 2 hose reels, a trench to manhole for drain outlet, and we are to then backfill and make good, and remove all waste from site. Progress Persepctive of our 3-Phase Project in Cardiff City

Image
When we're undertaking large projects, we separate the associated work into separate phases to make the project more manageable all-round. With Phase 1 of our Cardiff project already completed, tested, and signed off, we're now well into Phase 2, the plant room fit-out. Phase 1 involved the installation of our innovative surface-mounted wash pad, a Morclean BlueBox water treatment system, and putting the associated pipework in place, whilst Phase 2 , which is being progressed by the Morclean Team as I type, rumbles along nicely in the new plant room. Phase 3 will see the completion of the cladding and roof to the wash bay, which will encase the entire structure to  protect the surrounding area from over-spray of water or detergent and to contain any particles of debris from the item being cleaned. We look forward to bringing you up-to-date images very soon. For more information on our wash bay projects, contact us on 01246 471147, or at  info@morclean.com , or simply ...

Surface-Mounted Wash Bay Installation in South Wales

Image
Aside from our East Lothian project, we've also start Phase 1 of our Cardiff project today, with the wash pad and steel portal already in place. This South Wales-based project involves the installation of a 40M2 surface mounted fully fitted wash bay, plant room, tech room, drainage, and water treatment in 3 separate phases. The wash bay will be totally surface mounted, which means zero excavation or civil works, and no groundworks or dilapidation. This means also means that our surface-mounted wash pads are perfect for numerous environments including those where there are no foundations, such as multi-story car parks and dual-level parking decks, or sites where groundworks are impractical. Another important factor when considering surface-mounted wash pads over concrete is the fact that they can be easily relocated if a change of premises is required, and there is no dilapidation - meaning that nothing has to be dug up and no holes filled in. You simply dismantle the str...

It's Going to be a Busy, Yet Exciting Year for the Morclean Team!

Image
With over twenty projects at the quoting, planning, or prepping stage, we're all geared up for our busiest year ever.  From Glasgow to Germany, and Stevenage to Spain, we've had a record number of  inquiries for  wash bay, wash pad, jet wash, and interceptor installs  throughout the UK, Scotland, and Europe. Our first project, in East Lothian at the very beginning of March, is a turnkey project that will involve  excavation and civil works to install a new silt trap and pump  chamber, a plant room, and an interceptor, alongside two huge 20CuM3 tanks and a separator. Phew, it's a big job but the type of project we thrive on.   Once we've completed this Scotland based project, we're off to Nottingham to install yet another silt trap, pump chamber, plant room, and interceptor, alongside a brand new jet wash... but more about that later. For now, we'll concentrate on East Lothian, bringing you regular updates throughout each phase.  To see ou...

East Lothian Wash Bay Project Scheduled for a Spring Start

Image
The Morclean team has been involved in the planning and design of a new wash bay plant on a site in East Lothian for over a year, but after a somewhat tumultuous period of time, we're now ready to make a start in Spring.  The turnkey project will involve excavation and civil works to install two large 20CuM3 interceptors, and an additional separator, with a complete wash bay to follow. The wash bay is to be squared off, which should result in; less unusable space  utilisation of levels that lend themselves to its orientation less surface water running onto the wash pad better/easier turning circles for the vehicles  Morclean is to saw cut and peck out the area, ensuring that it is fully  isolated, whilst following stringent Health & Safety (H&S) procedures throughout. Morclean Battling the Weather at Worcester

The Blue Box has arrived!

Image
The Blue Box has officially arrived at Morclean! Here in the Morclean office we have such a buzz about this new release, from seeing this on my first day I can see why, I was really impressed. Having great in design features which make it easy to fit with minimal installation, all surface mounted so no need to disrupt the workplace with costly building work. The Blue Box only requires a power supply to operate with a simple connection consisting of one inlet from the wash bay and one outlet to a mains foul drain. Thinking about relocating? no need to stress as the Blue Box is semi portable and easy to move which can be set up in your new location. This is possible as everything is above ground making unsightly building work a thing of the past. I think this is what impressed me the most after thinking about how much disruption would be going on if it was all under ground, mess everywhere. The Morclean system can be manufactured for other suppliers, in other colours, ...
