There's nothing rubbish about setting up your own bin cleaning business

Image
We have received numerous calls from local residents over the years asking if we can clean their bins. However, we supply the bin cleaning machines but we don't provide a bin cleaning service.  This is where you come in. If you're looking to set up a low-entry cost business with no franchise fees and the potential for great profits, the wheelie bin cleaning market is where you need to be. It's amazing how many people need their bins cleaning but don't know a local company that offers this service... and these are the reasons why bins need a real thorough clean: Dirty wheelie bins are a breeding ground for certain bacteria, including Listeria, E Coli, and Salmonella. They also attract rodents, flies, and cockroaches, which spread diseases and germs, making mucky bins really hazardous to people's health. "Clean bins are safe bins." A regular clean will maintain hygiene, remove odour, and prevent the spread of disease and bacteria, whilst deterring ve

Eliminating dirt in one clean sweep

Image
An industrial floor sweeper!? We hear you cry. Why buy one of those when a broom is so cheap? Well, we're here to tell you why... The upfront cost of owning an industrial sweeper may seem significant compared to the cost of a broom, but these costs are quickly outweighed by the benefits of owning a sweeping machine in the long run, especially for heavy applications. Large areas that need to be kept dust-free at all times will require much more TLC than a broom or a mop can provide. In fact, numerous sources claim that labour costs represent about 90 percent of the total outlay to maintain floors if you're not using an industrial cleaning machine. The man-hours that it takes to sweep an industrial-sized area [bearing in mind that the average person can cover approximately 250 square meters per hour] makes broom cleaning an expensive daily exercise. Not only that, various sources claim that 40% of the dust becomes airborne and then settles back down on the area you’ve alr

Demystifying the fogging and steam cleaning process

Image
Morclean's new Vision CMF Steam Pro Compact Steam Cleaner and Vision SF Steam Pro Fogging Device defies the negativity surrounding the fogging process. Various sources on the internet state that "the practices of fogging, fumigation and wide-area or electrostatic spraying are not recommended as a primary method of disinfection" (ECJ, 2021). However, used in conjunction with BS EN 14476 certified disinfectant, the combination of steam cleaning and fogging results in minimal aerosol or droplet dispersion, meaning that disinfecting in this way is not only completely harmless but the most effective way of cleaning and sanitising surfaces to the most exacting hygiene standards. Contrary to belief, you don't need to be dressed head to toe in an Area 51 Hazmat suit either, but with the right PPE, there is nothing remotely hazardous about sanitising all manner of surfaces with this two-stage steam cleaning and fogging process. The two-stage steam cleaning and fogging

Scrubber dryers, a vital tool in the fight against COVID-19

Image
The emergence of COVID-19 as a global pandemic has created a fresh approach to the hygiene measures that we need to follow on a daily basis. Floor hygiene under the lens Hygiene practices have been pulled into sharp focus, and while floor cleaning was always critical for infection control, it is even more apparent today that floors should be cleaned and disinfected on a daily basis. The traditional mop and bucket just doesn’t do a great job, as you’re effectively transferring the dirt and contaminants from one place to another rather than removing them completely. And it’s exceptionally timely - especially when cleaning large areas - and time costs money. So what's my alternative? Have you ever considered a scrubber dryer for hard floor cleaning? These nifty machines are the only way to guarantee that you’re putting nothing but clean water and chemical onto the ground. Scrubber dryers clean and extract (even engrained) dirt extremely effectively, ensuring that high cleanin

For simple water treatment solutions, we've got it all boxed up

Image
We had one of our GreyBoxes all packaged up for delivery to a high-end car dealer in Dartford City last week. "The Morclean GreyBox is a surface-mounted system that replaces the need for an underground permanent interceptor" This neat little piece of equipment was part of a problem-solving project for the world-renowned car company.   As there is no drainage on their existing wash pad, they were stuck, especially with the foul drain sitting 60m away from the wash pad. Moreover, there was no space beneath the pad to fit traditional items.  They approached us for a solution, and we enthusiastically designed and supplied a sump and pump chamber, with the grey box 'partial water treatment system' providing the final piece of the puzzle. The above-ground pumping system is designed to discharge to the foul, and the GreyBox (or BlueBox) interceptor is above ground, zero excavation alternative to the traditional underground [permanent] solutions.
