Morclean's Project Journey - Phase 5: Project Closure

The final and most fundamental stage of our project planning journey, where we complete the steps needed to close and deliver the finished project to the client, is called Project Closure, or the Post-Mortem/Follow-Up phase. In the closing phase, we communicate completion to the stakeholders and release resources to other projects, allowing our team to evaluate and document the project in order to move on to the next one. The project manager identifies the project’s strengths, valuable team members, what went wrong, how things can be rectified in the future, and any takeaways from the project. By exploiting previous project mistakes and successes, it enables us to build stronger processes and more successful teams for the future, helping us to approach our projects with even more enthusiasm and dedication. Morclean's Project Journey - Phase 4: Project Monitoring & Control

Phase 4 (Week 4) of our Morclean project journey is all about making sure that things run smoothly and according to plan. Measuring progress and overall performance to ensure that everything aligns with our project management plan.  This is where we review, track progress, and make adjustments to the project plan, if necessary, to deliver it in the best possible way, following key performance indicators (KPI's) such as: Project objectives:  ensuring that the project stays on schedule at the desired budget to meet the expectations of the client. Cost tracking : tracking variations from allotted cost and time. Quality deliverables: determining if deliverables are being met, or not. Project performance: taking into account any changes made in the project due to scope-creep, while measuring the project's overall progress.
