We're getting an 8x5 Surface Mounted Vehicle Wash Pad, a Pump Box, XL Ramps, an SG3 pump chamber, and a BioX Treatment System all packaged up this week, ready for their overseas journey to Montpellier in the South of France next week. Providing the perfect solution for a well-known electric car company. The wash pads modular design, where the  components are separated into smaller units for shipping and transporting, can quickly and easily be assembled by the contractor once they have been received on site. We have produced electronic instruction manuals and video tutorials for step-by-step assembly, to round everything off, and even online training to assist the European sub-contractors where required.  All of this allows for easy installation by others because the technical side of things has been done at this end ready to connect together.  ✔️  Making life simpler.  ✔️  Making progress possible.  ✔️  Making overseas partnerships work. Progress Persepctive of our 3-Phase Project in Cardiff City

Image
When we're undertaking large projects, we separate the associated work into separate phases to make the project more manageable all-round. With Phase 1 of our Cardiff project already completed, tested, and signed off, we're now well into Phase 2, the plant room fit-out. Phase 1 involved the installation of our innovative surface-mounted wash pad, a Morclean BlueBox water treatment system, and putting the associated pipework in place, whilst Phase 2 , which is being progressed by the Morclean Team as I type, rumbles along nicely in the new plant room. Phase 3 will see the completion of the cladding and roof to the wash bay, which will encase the entire structure to  protect the surrounding area from over-spray of water or detergent and to contain any particles of debris from the item being cleaned. We look forward to bringing you up-to-date images very soon. For more information on our wash bay projects, contact us on 01246 471147, or at  info@morclean.com , or simply ...

7 Reasons Why You Should Buy Our Surface Mounted Vehicle Wash Pads

Image
If you’re already familiar with the valeting, vehicle washing, or the transport industry, you should also be aware that when these types of businesses produce large amounts of wastewater, which - by law - cannot go straight down a surface drain. The effluent has to be contained and possibly recycled or removed.   Morclean's Surface Mounted Wash Pads provide a holistic solution to all of your vehicle washing needs, and below are the 7 reasons why you should buy one of these incredible systems: Reason 1 Our Surface Mounted Vehicle Wash Pads are perfect for use in heavy duty environments for longer periods, or where there is a need to wash higher volumes of vehicles. Reason 2 The wash pad is a sealed bund, made from a mixture of welded plastics and fiberglass panels, creating a solid, impermeable, and dedicated liquid containment area for tough applications. Reason 3 Morclean wash pads satisfy the current legislation for the containment and disposal of wat...

It's not just a drain: Water Filtration

Image
#ItsNotJustADrain: Water Filtration As most of you will know, those who create waste water in a business, like car washing, have a responsibility to collect and dispose of said water. It is unlawful to discharge chemical laced and contaminated vehicle wash water down surface drains and you can be faced with a hefty charge if you are caught. Remember, " it's not just a drain " these surface drains actually carry, essentially harmless, rain water to rivers and soakaways, so if contaminated water were to go through these drains, it is potentially harmful to our ecosystems.  It can also cause harm to animals that drink from such polluted water.  Contaminated wash water must outflow to a mains foul drain and usually via an interceptor. If there is no foul drain or easy access to a foul drain, then t he car wash operator would have to either: Move off site and find a new location Contain and store the water and take it all off site   Fully recycle the water....

Wash pad goes to Jersey

Image
The latest export to leave Morclean is the semi-permanent wash pad which has gone to a premier motor dealer based in Jersey. The wash pad will be used to aid in the valeting of the vehicles and ensure that environment agency standards are met. The wash mat is a surface mounted system which means the operator can avoid excavation or the need to have any items installed below ground. This is ideal for leasehold or sensitive sites such as a multi storey car park where ground works are not practical. The Morclean permanent wash pad is made from a mixture of rigid fibreglass panels and welded plastics. The wash mat is therefore is a sealed bund that will replace traditional concrete wash pads. The wash pad avoids excavation and civil works, and there are virtually zero builders works, disturbance to the ground. Our team can generally install a wash pad within hours with minimal fuss or inconvenience.

New Silt Trap range to be introduced in 2017

Image
Product Development Here at Morclean we are always adding and improving to the range of stock we offer to our customers- and 2017 will be no exception. At the beginning of next year we will be releasing a new Silt Trap range which will be aimed at smaller car wash operations or busy car wash and valeting sites. The new range will bring a host of new advantages including D400 gratings and a wider variety of sizes. The main advantage will be their strength and the ability to install them in a granular surround instead of concrete. This will save money when it's come to civil costs. We've standardised the production of this range to avoid building to order and so that we can keep more stock and easily supply on demand. Keep posted for a release date, and as always if you have any questions get in touch with us. Tel: 01246 471147 Email: sales@morclean.com www.morclean.com

My first day at Morclean

Image
For me Monday night mainly consisted in me setting my alarm for a super early start, by accident may I add meaning I got up half an hour before I was supposed to. Feeling better for the nice relaxing walk for my train, appose to my normal get out of the door and catch that train! Then straight on to a bus to drop me in Staveley, Derbyshire for my first day at Morclean.  So let me introduce myself, my name is Jodie Blackburn and today I will be getting to grips with everything Social Media and Marketing related at Morclean. Taking on the role of Social Media and Marketing Assistant, what a lovely office to come into.  After my induction and walk around the building I was asked by Peter to sit in on this mornings sales meeting, wow straight in there on my first day how exciting.  This particular meetings focus was all about the Morclean Permanent Wash Pad, which was set up outside which peter gave me a quick run through.  Did you know that it is illegal to wash ...
