So here's an innocent looking pallet, with a fairly standard looking machine strapped on top. However there seemed to be something special about this consignment and I wanted to find out why So I asked our MD Peter Morley what this was, why, what and where, and it turns out here's what it's all about... Morclean were approached by De Hoop Shipyard some time ago, and the specification they asked for was a little different. What's basically a wall mounted pressure washer had to be fitted out to a particular spec to meet the criteria set by the shipyard, that included several unique changes to the machine But what's all the song and dance about? We've had a great few days in Manchester at the New Manchester Cleaning Show, the UK's newest industry show. So where do we start first? Let's tell you about the important bit first and get down to business. This is a first for the region, and the show was held at Manchester's Event City just next to The Trafford Centre. It's  also a great venue and easy to reach (and park!) So I introduced you to the new range of Meridian machines on Wednesday HERE, and today I wanted to fill you in on more details and the features of the new range available at Morclean. The Machines feature a range of pumps that are designed for salt water use, a large selection of hot or cold pressure washers for use with 60 Hz, as well as a 4350psi hot or cold water units for extra heavy duty industrial applications and demanding projects. As well as the standard range of 50Hz and 60Hz, the Meridian machines can be purpose built with multiple pumps or twin boilers where extra pressure and flow is required. A couple of weeks ago I did a blog post introducing you to a new 'clean' graffiti method - reverse graffiti. The method consists of using a stencil over either a pavement, wall or other 'dirty' surface and pressure washing your company's logo or a message/picture of some sort onto it. The method is widely used by company's all over the world as it is a legal form of graffiti. We were going to experiment with the method but due to the ever changing weather conditions, it hasn't been particularly safe to be doing so! So, here's a little something I created on Photoshop to give you a good idea of how this marketing technique can be used effectively! We went for a little test run with one of our brand new Bin Wash machines . It has been brilliant! It is really easy to use, looks good and cleans bins super fast! The water is safely captured, and the first filter can be lifted any time for access. (See bottom picture.) The second filter is also removable so you can clean it when needed. The lance has a nifty little holder that it slots into when not in use. There is nothing remarkable about Morclean having a hot water steam cleaner in for a repair and service, it's a daily event that our engineers are well accustomed to.  However this particular machine was a bit more special than usual - it was actually twenty-eight years old and still going strong!  Our loyal customer bought this machine from us all those years ago and comes back to us periodically just for a service and to see if anything needs fixing. It's not the only machine they have had from us either, so we are doing something right to keep them coming back to us! Our Director Peter Morley can remember going to visit the customer years ago to service another machine.  It is working at full pressure as if it was new; and does the jobs it was originally bought for in 1984! Busy time for exhibitions! This year is proving eventful already - not only are we exhibiting at The Cleaning Show in March (not long away - its February on Friday!) but it is also the Autopromotec show in May. Taking place in Bologna, Italy between 22nd - 26th May, it is attended by experts in the automotive industry. Today, Keith of our sales team is delivering three Cold Water Pressure Washers to Matlock, a local town not too far from our head office. They are heading for a theme park, Gullivers Kingdom !
