The Clay Cross based business converts 4x4 pickups [mainly Ford Ranger], specialising in seat conversions, fitting body kits, numberplate centralisation, and so on. In these difficult times we're relying more than ever on 3rd party transport, and palleted loads. This particular delivery is no exception and is heading off to Cumbria  today to a merchant in Carlisle The silt traps will then make their onward journey to several Highways Agency sites in the north of England. Typically these locations store the gritters and other servive vehicles which are also maintained and  washed on site Silt traps are designed to provide a sump for collecting wash water and is typically placed in the centre of a wash bay so that the wash water falls to one collection point. Placed prior to the interceptor a silt trap collects larger debris and can be accessed via a hinged galvanised grating for easy manual emptying. Morclean's latest export is an interceptor tank due to go to Northern Ireland. Situated in the foot of the Sperrin mountains on purpose- built premises, the company specialise in selling a wide range of used commercials that include tractor units, trailers, rigids and specialist vehicles. The tank will be used to collect effluent from the washing of large vehicles.  We supply a comprehensive range of interceptors and separators which are used for vehicle washing, oil separation, forecourts and car parks. Morclean Interceptor Heads to Cider Factory Morclean were confronted by a Cider Factory in Hereford with the vision of installing equipment to help their drainage systems, in particular a system which would collect an excessive amount of waste water should a major leak occur. During normal operations the daily amount of waste water from the cider process is relatively small, comprising of excess water from washing down storage vats and equipment. Although a major leak had never occurred, they wanted to make a provision in their design for handling such an occurrence. To limit the outflow and control the spillage we suggested installing an interceptor tank with pumps and a control panel. The Blue Box has officially arrived at Morclean! Here in the Morclean office we have such a buzz about this new release, from seeing this on my first day I can see why, I was really impressed. Having great in design features which make it easy to fit with minimal installation, all surface mounted so no need to disrupt the workplace with costly building work. The Blue Box only requires a power supply to operate with a simple connection consisting of one inlet from the wash bay and one outlet to a mains foul drain. Thinking about relocating? no need to stress as the Blue Box is semi portable and easy to move which can be set up in your new location. This is possible as everything is above ground making unsightly building work a thing of the past. I think this is what impressed me the most after thinking about how much disruption would be going on if it was all under ground, mess everywhere.
