Morclean have this week donated  a small number of face visors to a local shop in the area. Even our shop workers are front line!   One of our team noted that while popping into the shop, some of the staff were struggling with broken masks. Morclean had a few visors left over and in their PPE stock from a previous donation to a hospital so one of our Directors actioned this contribution to protect against COVID-19

Morclean's new bin wash system now comes with a silver lining Most bin wash machines on the market today (previously including Morclean models) have 3 basic stages of filtration which are based on a micron level of fine mesh using industry standard gauze type filters. The water is filtered sufficiently to be perfectly good enough to be re-used throughout the day, but the water isn’t particularly clean given that the operators are washing out contaminated waste bins. If a finer micron filter is used they tend to ‘blind’ (which basically means block) and so filters with large enough holes tend to be used so that water can be re-used all day without blocking. However Morclean have recognised bacteria will build up in the system and the overspray of atomised water from the jet washing activity will contain airborne bacteria. Just a quick Friday post to inspire you for the weekend... You can see in the image below all the residents gathered to get their spring clean on! The Spring clean by residents of Montrose Court, Stapleford, was part of the towns annual community clean up. The cleaning show is a major event hosted in the UK, specifically aimed at the Cleaning Industry,  the show was held for the first time this year at ExCel, London and was attended by thousands of visitors from all over the UK and overseas. SO, as many of you already know (because I've been bombarding you with the news everyday), we exhibited for the very first time at Interclean this year. The exhibition, which we have often visited but never exhibited at, was held between 6th and 9th May 2014. We took the BinWash machine over there to show the people on the continent just what they were missing, and boy did they enjoy what we had to offer! We welcomed visitors, old and new customers to the stand in abundance and enjoyed showing off our latest developments to the machine which include a blue molded cover and improved filtration tray.  What's next then, I hear you cry? It's now less than one week until the Interclean ISSA 2014 at the RAI in Amsterdam and the car is being packed ready for the overnight ferry on Sunday.  The binwash has arrived safe and sound (phew! that would have been a disaster if it hadn't) and everything is intact and ready to rock 'n' roll. We've checked. Double checked. Triple checked. Then checked again that everyone has their sign in passes, hotel reservations, flights and passports and now the final countdown has begun! I don't know about any of you, but the past couple of mornings my car has been COVERED in the remains of sand... it looks like I've been driving around dirt tracks for a few weeks - no, I've not taken up dirt track racing. The pollution in the air is making the drives to work in a morning hazardous; air laden with thick, dusty smog makes conditions pretty awful.  According to the news (and I did think this was an April Fools joke at first) the smog is down to the Sahara desert... yep, that big sandy thing in the middle of Africa! It would certainly explain the sandy dust my car is covered in. Earlier last week we shipped Keith, a member of our Sales Team, off to Southampton to board a luxury cruise liner before it headed off to the exotic Caribbean. We've just been reading about the Takeaway Owner in Cardiff who deep fried his kitchen utensils instead of washing them. Not suprising that he was recently found guilty of 23 food hygeniene offences for his Kebab shop, which gave 9 people e-coli, and sentenced to 8 months in prison. Offences such as keeping raw meat and bread next to each other in the fridge, raw meat was also kept next to salad, and general unclean surfaces and storage units lead to a small outbreak of e-coli in Cardiff from this one little shop. Today we finally had a clean, dry day to get filming the Morclean Super 240 and grab a few teaser photos whilst we were at it. Myself (Becky) and Keith (Sales Team) went into the yard to test out the Morclean Super 240 and to see what damage could be done with it! Unlike our other vacuum litter collectors, this model stands on a large, sturdy wheeled base with a normal 240l bin standing on it to collect the waste which is sucked up. The Super 240 has an injection molded fan and fan housing to increase suction and overall performance.
