Big changes ahead for those who use 'red' diesel.  From 1 April 2022, businesses that are currently using rebated gas oil – also known as red diesel – will no longer be entitled to the rebates that have been in effect.  Diesel currently contributed to the global warming and climate crisis problem we are all facing, and this government lead policy aims to reduce the use of diesel for his reason.  Air pollution is also a huge concern - and lowering diesel usage will also help to clean up the air in the UK. All businesses and individuals who use or supply rebated gas oil and rebated biofuels will be affected.
