We have just embarked upon a new wash bay project for a company that cleans down refuse trucks in Denbigh, Wales, which will be executed in separate three phases over a one-and-a-half-year timeline. This project will comprise of the installatio n of silt traps, an interceptor, wash water collection tanks, a water reclaim system (where all the all water is fully recycled), a gantry with steps and a walkway to reach top of vehicles, screens, two fixed jet washes, hose reels and pipe work.  The way that each phase of these works is being broken down throughout this period of time is as follows: Phase 1 - Supply 01 November 2021 Silt trap Interceptor Wash water tanks Phase 2 - Reclaim  Scheduled for early/mid-2022 Installation Phase 3 - Wash Bay Installation Scheduled for Spring 2023 Gantry Screens 2 x fixed jet wash Hose reels Pipework Some projects need time. Take, for example, our recent wash bay installation in Nottinghamshire, where we relocated some of the client's original wash bay equipment from their previous installation, alongside the preparation, excavation, and concrete pour,  Completed last week, the project entailed the i nstallation of a GRP silt trap, a pump and interceptor complete with all ducting & pipework, levelling off the existing surface, and the construction of 20m X 10m concrete bay for the wash area, and all complete with two user posts and hose reels for jet washing. All was quiet on the social front yesterday, as I embarked on a s ite visit to take photos  of project delivery progress at our Langar project in Nottingham. It's the first time I've seen the excavation stage of a wash bay installation up close and personal, and it was a fascinatingly valuable experience. Health and Safety First Upon approaching Morclean's cordoned-off area, which is under full ownership and control of Morclean or it's subcontractors during works, a vivid blue Morclean H&S station sat at the entrance to the site, The H&S station comes  complete with a visitor and contractor signing-in record book, HSE law poster, first aid box, fire extinguisher, and an accident book, together with a fully stocked first aid kit, As an accredited Safe Contractor, Morclean is fully dedicated to ensuring that health & safety procedures are regularly upgraded and updated in line with legislation, and our H&S Station ticks all of the regulation boxes....

We're delighted to announce that we have another exciting new project starting at the beginning of November, for an organisation based in Salisbury that undertakes military aircraft testing and evaluation, for washing down Corba Fire Vehicles! The finished project, which is planned for Mid-November, will include the installation of a Morclean Silt Trap and 3-Stage Interceptor. We're taking this project straight from site survey, design, and proposal, all the way through to supply, install, and handover. Morclean to saw cut, excavate and lay a 10m curbed wash.  We will then install a sump and pump and lay concrete slab to the falls. Next comes the installation of an above-ground interceptor, alongside a bowser jet wash, and  2 hose reels and user posts. Always looking ahead, we have another exciting new project penciled in for a mid-October start.  A builders yard in Worcester, which is currently vacated, is set to be a brand new location for a power generator firm that will be washing heavy-duty generators.  Once the site survey has been undertaken, Morclean is to saw cut and excavate for the installation of a silt trap, interceptor, and wash pad, with s ome of these elements being placed above-ground to reduce excavation.
