One of the UK's leading bakery brand has bought on of our fantastic commercial steam cleaners.  Our Vapour Steam Cleaners are perfect to quickly clean and sanitise inanimate objects or surfaces. Steam is produced in a boiler, heating water to temperatures over 115°C to produce low pressure, low moisture vapour. As many of you will know if you've called into Morclean recently, there's some major renovations taking place inside and outside the building. One of the main renovations is the creation of a smart and friendly showroom where many of our machines will be on display and ready to demonstrate should you want to see a machine in action. There will also be helpful leaflets which you can pick up on our machines, and a help desk too! Hotel Vapour Steam Demonstration A local hotel in Chesterfield is now the proud owner of a Morclean Vapour Steam VP3600 .  A member of our knowledgeable sales team, Keith, went to deliver the machine himself and to give a detailed demonstration on how to safely use the machine to it's full potential. This week sees the departure of two rather special interceptors.   Two separators for hard-standing areas have been custom made for a company in Malta. They are for safely removing and oil from water, and safely dispose of.  The company that contacted us were seeking a UK company in particular, to give advice on this pressing problem. The main issue for them was the pipe sizes. As you can see in the pictures - the pipes coming from the interceptors are quite a bit bigger than usual ; 450 mm to be exact! To cater for this unusual pipe size, a custom made interceptor had to be made. Morclean, of course, obliged, and created the separator to exact site requirements.  Morclean custom made the system in kit form. It has large, separate pipes that will fit exactly onto the separator. Morclean have just sold three ATEX   APPROVED Vacuum Cleaners to a bakery Company in Stoke-on-Trent.   The reason for the need to use ATEX vacs is because residue from some ingredients used in their baking operations, i.e.  flour, sugar, milk powder, present a possible flash hazard when being picked up with a vacuum cleaner.  All ATEX vacuum cleaners are built using anti-static ( conductive ) materials, preventing ignition of any potentially explosive/hazardous dusts in the atmosphere. The Company opted for air operated units, but mains operated ATEX machines are also available from Morclean .  Oh, and, did I mention the also  company make sausage rolls? I hope the delivery van that's dropping the vacs off comes back with some snacks for us! The humble sausage roll. 

As I mentioned in a previous blog post , we have having a little extension built on our workshop, to make way for even more machines and equipment! It is coming on more and more each day - reinforcing the floor for a good base to build on. And some wonderful handiwork building that rather nice wall! More to follow as the site progresses!

   Time for some retro goodness.  A very early version of a Hot Water High Pressure Washer - 3000 psi. This picture is probably around 10 years old. These models did very well at the time, selling well as there weren't many similar machines like this on the market.  Morclean used to actually contract clean as well as sell products. About 15 years ago Morclean decided to concentrate on selling equipment. This is before then - a memorable job which was to clean all the statues in Chesterfield in time for Remembrance Day with our high pressure washers .   Lastly, this is our Dave (who still works with Morclean today) working outside on a machine, as at the time our workshop was so crowded, there was no room! About 15 years ago, judging by the bosses E-reg Sierra in the background!
