Recently, we supplied one of the Morclean Above Ground Water Treatment Tanks to a busy commercial site, providing a robust solution for managing wash water and supporting the site's ongoing operations.

A practical approach to water treatment

For businesses operating vehicle, machinery or commercial wash bays, effective wastewater management is an important consideration.

High volumes of wash water can place significant demands on existing drainage infrastructure, making it essential to have an appropriate system in place.

Our above-ground water treatment system has been developed specifically for applications where larger quantities of wash water need to be managed.

The system consists of baffled tanks designed to provide partial treatment of wash water before disposal to a mains foul drain, making it particularly suitable for larger car washes and commercial van or lorry cleaning facilities. 

Why choose an above-ground system?

Unlike traditional below-ground systems, Morclean's range can be transported and installed in sections. This provides greater flexibility where site access may be restricted or where extensive excavation and groundworks aren't desirable. 

Once installed on a suitable prepared base, the system requires periodic emptying, much like a conventional below-ground interceptor.

For our recent project, this flexibility provided a practical solution that could be incorporated into an existing commercial working environment without unnecessary disruption.

Designed for higher-volume washing

The range is available in capacities from 3,000 litres up to 10,000 litres, allowing the system to be selected according to the requirements of the individual site.

For higher-volume wash bays and busy commercial washing operations, the larger capacities can help reduce disposal costs and provide additional wastewater storage capacity. The systems are also available with an optional outer gel coating, providing an improved finish where aesthetics are particularly important.
