A Demanding Marine Environment

The facility is a large-scale shipyard based in Singapore, specialising in the design, construction, repair and refit of high-speed aluminium vessels.

Its work includes offshore crewboats, security vessels, patrol boats, fire-fighting and search-and-rescue vessels, passenger ferries, as well as fully electric and hybrid-electric vessels. The site covers approximately 30,000 square metres and includes fabrication workshops, overhead cranes, a 500-ton marine travelift and self-propelled modular transporters.

A Static Jet Wash Designed for Industrial Use

We supplied one of our static pressure washers, designed specifically for applications where a permanent and secure high-pressure cleaning point is required.

Unlike portable pressure washers, our static systems are installed in a robust, lockable cabinet. This provides a dedicated location for the equipment while protecting the pressure washer and keeping the controls conveniently together in one place.

Our static pressure washers can be built to individual customer specifications and are available in either robust stove-enamelled steel or stainless-steel cabinets.

For this type of shipyard application, a fixed installation offers the advantage of having high-pressure cleaning readily available without repeatedly moving a mobile machine around the site.

Powerful Hot-Water Cleaning

Our static pressure washer range can be configured to provide pressures from 1,500 to 3,000 psi, with water flow rates from 12 to 21 litres per minute.

Hot-water models can deliver outlet temperatures of up to 120°C, providing additional cleaning power for applications where heat is beneficial.

The equipment also incorporates variable pressure control, a thermostat, thermal overload protection and automatic time shutdown. A 10-metre high-pressure hose, gun and lance are supplied to provide operators with the reach required for practical cleaning operations.

Built Around the Customer's Requirements

One of the advantages of our static pressure washer systems is the ability to configure them around the needs of the installation.

The equipment can be permanently connected to mains power and water services, with controls for temperature, flow, pressure and detergent contained within the cabinet.

Our systems are available in a range of electrical specifications, including 110V, 240V and 415V, allowing us to provide solutions for a variety of industrial environments.
