Money raised for local hospice

The lady who takes care of the marketing at Morclean, Claire Unwin, has just completed 'Dry January' and raised a healthy amount for the local charity Ashgate Hospice.

She has gone 31 days without a gin and in return raised £212 for a hospice that does great work, with the promise of further donations budging the figure up to the £300 mark.

"
We shouldn't take the places that help those affected for granted- you never know who may need to use the services of your local hospice. Ashgate Hospice is undoubtedly a familiar name to many who live within the Borough of Chesterfield and the service they offer to those needing palliative care and support is invaluable."

Ashgate Hospice is an independent registered charity covering North Derbyshire that provides specialist palliative care to terminally ill adults and their families, maintaining best quality of life throughout illness.

Well done, Claire!
