Wash pad goes to Jersey

Image
The latest export to leave Morclean is the semi-permanent wash pad which has gone to a premier motor dealer based in Jersey. The wash pad will be used to aid in the valeting of the vehicles and ensure that environment agency standards are met. The wash mat is a surface mounted system which means the operator can avoid excavation or the need to have any items installed below ground. This is ideal for leasehold or sensitive sites such as a multi storey car park where ground works are not practical. The Morclean permanent wash pad is made from a mixture of rigid fibreglass panels and welded plastics. The wash mat is therefore is a sealed bund that will replace traditional concrete wash pads. The wash pad avoids excavation and civil works, and there are virtually zero builders works, disturbance to the ground. Our team can generally install a wash pad within hours with minimal fuss or inconvenience.

Litter collector goes to Yorkshire council

Image
When a versatile and powerful machine is needed to pick up an array of litter, the Super 120 Trolley Vac is perfect for the job. The light and effective machine has all the power you need from a robust 4 stoke Honda engine. Although it has a very strong suction capacity the noise has been drastically reduced making it a great choice for use in built up, urbanised areas. The Yorkshire Council originally enquired about a machine that would be capable of picking up general litter in particular an abundance of  cigarette ends that had been littered. The Super 120 from Morclean stands on a large, sturdy wheeled base with a normal 120l bin standing on it to collect waste. An injection moulded fan and fan housing increases suction and overall performance. It can vacuum up anything from glass, leaves, cans and bottles to dog faeces and stub ends, which make it a very versatile piece of kit to clean large areas such as holiday parks, large factory settings etc.

The new range brings a host of new advantages including D400 gratings and a wider variety of sizes. The main advantage is their strength and the ability to install them in a granular surround instead of concrete. This saves money when it comes to civil costs. We've standardised production of this range to avoid building to order and so that we can keep more stock and easily supply on demand. The Silt Guard is an extremely robust range of silt traps that can be installed in granular surround if required. The range features two smaller silt traps at 275 litres and 450 litres silt retention and a larger 1000 litre unit. Money raised for local hospice

Image
The lady who takes care of the marketing at Morclean, Claire Unwin, has just completed 'Dry January' and raised a healthy amount for the local charity Ashgate Hospice. She has gone 31 days without a gin and in return raised £212 for a hospice that does great work, with the promise of further donations budging the figure up to the £300 mark.  " We shouldn't take the places that help those affected for granted- you never know who may need to use the services of your local hospice. Ashgate Hospice is undoubtedly a familiar name to many who live within the Borough of Chesterfield and the service they offer to those needing palliative care and support is invaluable." Ashgate Hospice is an independent registered charity covering North Derbyshire that provides specialist palliative care to terminally ill adults and their families, maintaining best quality of life throughout illness.  Well done, Claire!
