The Manchester Cleaning Show

Here at the Manchester Cleaning Show, things just got live. And 'live' it was - with the BBC Breakfast Show present too...

Exhibitions are hard work but fun, and hopefully they're worthwhile. And this show was no exception; Exhibiting at the show brought in numerous enquiries, and we even sold a machine off the stand - but the exhibition was also covered by the BBC Breakfast team

The organisers had made everyone  aware that the BBC would be filming on the first day, and it would seem that The Manchester Cleaning Show has seen a fantastic response with thousands attending and incredible PR coverage from BBC Breakfast, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC North West regional coverage; as well as printed regional newspaper coverage and trade press support.

So how about our 15 minutes of fame? Firstly Steph McGovern was a lovely and down to earth person making us welcome from the first moment. During the opening hours to the show, the BBC Breakfast team carried out several interviews and features.

Our bin wash machine was in shot a couple of times, seen by around 7M viewers, but we were all upstaged by our Floorcare Sales manager Keith - who not only managed to be in shot but also managed to secure a 'speaking part' in the show...

Being chased by Steph, and the cameraman, Keith's now infamous line was "not today Steph" when she asked if she could have a go on the machine he was driving. Steph McGovern, also pictured above, did personally thank Keith and the Morclean team personally, as well as via Twitter, and it's a pleasure to have worked with such a great team
