Prestige Cars now get a Prestigious Clean with Morclean's WashPad

Just last week saw the completion of a project at a prestigious car retailer in Cambridge. This project was for an electric car service and sale centre, where lots of vehicles would be passing through daily. 

The whole installation was completed by the Morclean team, with their many years of expertise and knowledge. 

This has been a larger ongoing project, and has entered the final stage 3 of the installation.

This extra large WashPad from Morclean is completely self contained and safely catches the waste water from the vehicle washing. There are ramps at either end of the WashPad which makes it easy for the vehicle to enter and exit the canopy-covered drive-through washing area. 

The Wash Pad has a full canopy and housing that will protect the vehicles from the elements when being cleaned. The housing has been finished in the customer's choice of colour, that was chosen from the RAL colour chart. To make the area look really put together and pleasing to the eye, the painted steels and the plastisol cladding have also been made in the same RAL colour choice. We also added some polycarbonate for extra light. 

We work closely with our customers to create the cleaning solution they need. Using the desired colour combinations and adding the extra light where possible was important to our customer, and we are happy to make these bespoke packages to suit our customers needs. 

To make the installation complete the Morclean team added an integral technical room with associated water treatment. The WashPad collects the waste water from the vehicle washing area and the water is pumped to a Morclean BlueBox for partial treatment and then to foul drain. This entire drive-through washing system is completely water tight, as the volume of cars going through to be cleaned will be very high. 

The in-built tech room houses the water pumps, water treatment and interceptor, along with the associated jet wash and valeting equipment all under one roof. This makes it easy for the operators to grab whatever they need to complete the vehicle cleaning. 

Everything is self contained and nice and neat with no overflow of contaminated water. Compliance with waste water regulations is paramount to this type of installation, and all of Morclean's equipment follows all regulation requirements closely. 

That's not all - this is a watertight WashPad that is totally surface mounted! This means that there is no need for excavation, no civils and no ground works. This greatly reduces and practically eliminates the mess and construction waste caused by installation. Another bonus is that if needed, this entire system could be relocated to another site.
