New and Improved - Morclean's IBC VAC

The Morclean High Capacity IBC VAC

First of all, what is IBC? IBC = Intermediate Bulk Container. They also are sometimes referred to as an IBC tote or tank. IBCs were designed to contain liquid, including things such as food ingredients, chemicals, solvents and pharmaceuticals. They are also a way to safely transport these liquids once they are contained.

Our IBC Vac is purposely designed around a standard Intermediate Bulk Container and uses the 1000 litre capacity of the IBC to contain the liquid. This is quite unusual, as most wet pick up vacuums have a capacity of just 10-100 litres. Best of all, Morclean's IBC VAC does not need larger 3 phase and 415v motors and can run perfectly on a standard 240v supply.

The wet vacuum cleaner has a twin motor and is extremely high performance, displaying a high delivery rate for large amounts of fluid. 240v by-pass motors do the hard work of moving the fluid to to the purpose built container. The container itself is, importantly, implosion-resistant. The stainless steel pump then transports the fluid along a drain hose into the IBC tank, where the fluid is safely contained.

Morclean's IBC VAC would be most useful for situations such as cleaning up after flooding, cleaning up after fire fighting measures have taken place, work taking place on a wet flat-roof, working in wet cellars, emptying tanks and vessels, large factories and disposal of a large amount of liquid of any kind.

Morclean have a few options available for the IBC Vac, including brand new or used, reconditioned models, and also machines that are food-safe.

This model is improved on previous versions - the biggest change being to the vacuum casing ring and top plate. The original top plate was steel and had to be prepared and galvanised. Morclean's latest model for 2024 features a recyclable polyethylene casing ring and top plate which can be manufactured in food-safe materials. Not only is it great to be using more recyclable materials in our builds, this improvement had resulted in multiple benefits such as a lighter machine that is easier to transport and manoeuvre. The casing ring and top plate is also scratch and mark resistant, which improves the whole look of the machine. Additionally, it means there are no welded seams of bolted fixings this way, so therefore no unsightly rusting as the machines go through regular wear and tear of use.

As always, we take each clients bespoke needs in to consideration of the builds, so further customisation and additional options are available by request.
