Inventing the impossible with Morclean's IBC Vac

Today's post is all about Arvin Meretor, who are a Midlands based clutch and brake manufacturer.

Arvin Meretor had a bit of a problem they had been facing in their manufacturing process. It concerned a product that is contained within vessels that needed to be emptied of liquid in some way. All ways were considered - discharging, pumping, taken away somehow? The most practical solution would be to use a vacuum cleaner to remove the liquid, but the amount in the tanks added up to ONE THOUSAND litres. A LOT of liquid.

So, all that Arvin Meretor needed was a 1000 litre vacuum, right? Get in touch with Morclean. Problem solved.

However, Morclean were quite confident that this vacuum did not exist. There was no machine any where near that size on the marketplace.

In order to recover this amount of water in this way, a couple of problems presented themselves.

1. A vacuum unit on a standard 240 or 415 volts supply, cannot convey the air across such a large capacity container of 1000 litres. It just wouldn't be strong enough.

2. Even if one could find a powerful enough motor, the vacuum system would cause the traditional container to EXPLODE.

Never ones to give up, and always proud to be innovators - Morclean went into deep research mode. After long hard thinking and consideration - Morclean came up with a solution.

Morclean have developed a system that runs on a standard 230 volts supply, and uses two 1000 Watt motors to create a vacuum across a huge 1000 litre container. The vacuum can be plugged into a conventual 230 volts socket while having a massive 1000 litre capacity.

This system does have to be used with a fork lift truck or pallet truck due to the size. The water contained within the container can then be taken to discharge, water reclaim or water recycling. While strictly speaking this is one of our range of specialist vacuum cleaners, the IBC vacuum is ideally used in conjunction with water reclaim and recycling, or in conjunction with a AquaBoom system.

Morclean are proud innovators, and will always help you with your situation, and develop a solution with your business in mind.
