Measuring a whopping   5,895 meters  above sea level, this would be no walk in the park for Susan, but her hard work and determination saw her through and on September 1st 2017, Susan managed to summit Kilimanjaro, describing it at "A crazy experience, but definitely one I'll never forget!". Susan visited one of the school projects in Moshi, Tanzania (Ronga School) which is attended by 300 children (in just 4 classrooms) and was able to see how the school is supported by Childreach International. Image
Morclean were happy to load up and deliver 5 of our fantastic ThermaFlow Static systems to a London train depot, perfect for cleaning the underside of those train carriages.  Morclean's own Keith and Dave loading up the ThermaFlow machines This was our second installation at this Depot and we were delighted to be back with more of our brilliant machines.  Steady now Keith... A little to the left  The ThermaFlow system is fully electric, this means, no diesel, no fumes, no emissions, no fuss! It is also totally unique to Morclean. Unlike traditional hot water pressure washers with pre-heat boilers, the ThermaFlow system is able to heat water up to 80°c on demand, thanks to post-pump heaters. We saw that when pre-heating the water before pumping, a lot of hot water and energy was being wasted. Our solution to this was to heat the water after it had been pumped, in thermal tubes, giving you a constant, instant flow of hot water without temperature fluctuat...

It's not just a drain: Water Filtration

Image
#ItsNotJustADrain: Water Filtration As most of you will know, those who create waste water in a business, like car washing, have a responsibility to collect and dispose of said water. It is unlawful to discharge chemical laced and contaminated vehicle wash water down surface drains and you can be faced with a hefty charge if you are caught. Remember, " it's not just a drain " these surface drains actually carry, essentially harmless, rain water to rivers and soakaways, so if contaminated water were to go through these drains, it is potentially harmful to our ecosystems.  It can also cause harm to animals that drink from such polluted water.  Contaminated wash water must outflow to a mains foul drain and usually via an interceptor. If there is no foul drain or easy access to a foul drain, then t he car wash operator would have to either: Move off site and find a new location Contain and store the water and take it all off site   Fully recycle the water....

It's not just a drain: BinWash System

Image
#ItsNotJustADrain: BinWash System  You may not be aware that disposing of contaminated waste water could land you with a hefty fine or in some extreme cases, potentially prison.  This is because there are different types of drains which can only have certain things run through them. These are foul drains and surface drains. A foul drain  is designed to carry contaminated wastewater to a sewage works for treatment, where as a surface drain is only really meant for rainwater and uncontaminated, clean water.  This is because surface drains lead directly towards our rivers, streams and lakes and the untreated, chemical laced water is deadly to our eco system and potentially harmful to animals that may drink the water.  Activities that product contaminated water or other liquids ('trade effluent') may include:  Wheelie bin washing  Vehicle washing Yard cleaning Manufacturing processes Water cooling Cleaning of food production ar...
