Morclean's ATEX Vacuums & 3D Printing

Image
3D Printing and ATEX Vacuums Non-conductive combustible plastic powder dust can be a problem in the 3D printing process. It must be safely removed when the manufacturing is complete.   An ATEX industrial vacuum cleaner is effective for safely removing dust from the production chamber and printer itself, the floor and surroundings and from the finished product.   These dusts are potentially explosive, and can cause skin and respiratory conditions so utmost care must be taken in removing the dust safely into the vacuum container. ATEX equipment is certified to handle such dusts, and Morclean have a range of ATEX certified vacuums for use in Zone 22.  Our vacuums have been designed, tested and approved for specifically the collection of hazardous materials.  Using professional industrial vacuum equipment will help to:   Protect operators from harmful dusts Avoid potential explosions Promote good housekeeping Allow machinery to function at optimal level Improve prod...

Chemical-free Weed Control by Morclean

Image
Weeds can cause all sorts of problems for landscapers, ground workers and contractors alike. For a long time chemical herbicides have been the norm to help control the weeds, though these have become more controversial over the years and are not as safe to use as first thought. They can be dangerous to humans and animals, as well as leaving nasty residues and contaminating soil. However, there is a another solutions that Morclean have been researching over the years. Weed contol using JUST hot water. Using just heat and water, the weeds can be controlled and in many cases, eliminated, with a natural and environmentally friendly solution. Hot water has proven to be very effective - as seen in this video displaying the before and afters. The hot water actually disrupts the plants cellular structure. When a consistent stream of hot water is applied to the weed, the heat essentially cooks the weed from inside out, causing irreparable damage to the cellular structure of the plant. All moist...

How Effective is Hot Water for Weed Control? Before & Afters

Image
How Effective is Hot Water for Weed Control?  Here at Morclean we are carrying out some tests to demonstrate the effectiveness of using hot water weed control. There are some scientific studies already out there that point to hot water being the most effective way to control weeds. However, we wanted to put that to our own test and see the results for ourselves! In the video below you can see some before and afters. Morclean went to a site to record the weeds at different times, before application, during, immediately after, and we then returned 48 hours later to see the true results of the application.  The new Morclean Weed Control System requires just hot water, and absolutely no harsh chemicals. As you can see from the video - it really does provide great results. The Morclean Weed Control keeps the hot water at a consistent high temperature. This allows the heat to penetrate the membrane of the weed and go all the way through to the roots. It essentially cooks the p...

New and Improved - Morclean's IBC VAC

Image
The Morclean High Capacity IBC VAC First of all, what is IBC? IBC = Intermediate Bulk Container. They also are sometimes referred to as an IBC tote or tank. IBCs were designed to contain liquid, including things such as food ingredients, chemicals, solvents and pharmaceuticals. They are also a way to safely transport these liquids once they are contained.  Our IBC Vac is purposely designed around a standard Intermediate Bulk Container and uses the 1000 litre capacity of the IBC to contain the liquid. This is quite unusual, as most wet pick up vacuums have a capacity of just 10-100 litres. Best of all, Morclean's IBC VAC does not need larger 3 phase and 415v motors and can run perfectly on a standard 240v supply.  The wet vacuum cleaner has a twin motor and is extremely high performance, displaying a high delivery rate for large amounts of fluid. 240v by-pass motors do the hard work of moving the fluid to to the purpose built container. The container itself is, important...
