Exceptionally high flow rate!

Image
Ready to ship to its new owner - a well-built, hard-wearing pressure cleaner.  This Morclean machine has a really unusual specification as the flow rate is so high. Usually, conventional flow rates would be closer to 21 lpm and this Ultra High Pressure cleaner is a whopping 60 lpm.  This means that 20Kw of cleaning power can be achieved without adding extremely high pressures. Our MD, Peter Morley worked the formulae back to study the true power of this cleaning machine. If we used just 21 lpm flow rate we would need around 575 bar (8300 psi) to achieve the same Kw.  Using pressures of 8000psi and above definitely adds more risk when using, not to mention the lower pressure machine is far easier to operate. The higher flows are better for 'flushing' debris to remove them, rather than cutting straight through them.  Just to put it into perspective, a pressure washer you might find in a petrol forecourt would achieve 2Kw, and this machine reaches 10 times that cleaning power.  Al

New Wash Tank Design for Site in Manchester

Image
The final handover of this brand new Wash Tank to the site managers in Manchester happened just last week!  Morclean have been busy installing this Wash Tank, which is a new design for this year. Using our very own R&D department and 3D CAD, Morclean have re-designed the Wash Bay Tanks and made several improvements. It is ideal for washing factory parts and components. The site we visited is a paint production factory - which, as you can imagine - can be messy work at times! The Wash Tank was specifically for washing barrels and containers that are used a lot in this factory. What is very important is that the water is contained and captured, so it can be disposed of safely and by proper means. The Wash Bay prevents any waste water escaping.  The entire washing area is completely water tight, and self contained. The screens around the washing area prevent any overspray escaping into the surrounding area. Some paints can be made using chemicals and components that could be irritatin
