Aircraft Vacs on their way to Oman ✈️

Image
At Morclean we are so happy that our customers reach far and wide, and one of our recent sales saw six Aircraft Spec Vacuums all the way to the Sultanate of Oman. Oman is situated  on the southeastern coast of the  Arabian Peninsula  in  Western Asia.  The company is a large business conglomerate that has a speciality in aircrafts, among many other industries.  What makes the Morclean's Aircraft Vacuums so special is that they are designed to the electrical standard of 400Hz rather than 60Hz. This then means that smaller and lighter power supplies can be used on board. There are of course space and weight restrictions upon any aircraft, and Morclean's 400Hz aircraft specification vacuum cleaners are purposely designed to be highly economical in size without compromising on power. These machines are specifically designed to inhabit the aircraft space, without taking up too much room but they get the job done quickly and efficiently.  Our latest client...

Celebrating 3 years of the Research & Development Facility at Morclean!

Celebrating 3 years of the Research & Development Facility  at Morclean This month sees three amazing years of our latest addition to the Morclean Headquarters.  This is where the Morclean team develop the innovative designs and actually build the latest machines, including the Best Selling Bin Wash Range.    This came about in 2021 when Morclean was desperate for more space, as we had our cleaning products were in high demand and we had outgrown our facility. Our team are very knowledgeable and have got years of experience of building and designing, and we really wanted an area they could put this to good use. This new Research and Development area had plenty of space for the team to build and design prototypes. Complete with new office space for staff and a dedicated workshop, it was just what Morclean needed to expand and grow.  Morclean now has the space for in house fabrication, production and assembly, and specia...

Pressure Washing in the Beautiful Welsh Valleys

Image
A pressure washer is packed up and ready to go to a Local Council in Wales. This particular model is a Towable Bowser Pressure washer - which is great for a portable option for cleaning around a town or village.  These can be petrol or diesel pressure cleaners, using both hot and cold water. They can be mounted to skids, trailers or water bowsers that make them easy to use for mobile work and remote locations. They are self contained mobile machines that have their own water supply - therefore they can be used anywhere and everywhere! This is most useful, especially in some of the beautiful remote areas of Wales. The high pressure washers are very effective at removing graffiti and chewing gum - as well as being very handy at patio cleaning, lorry washing, fly poster removal and road sign clearing. They are very powerful pressure washers, and you can see how they would be incredibly useful for a council that has to tidy up the town and complete a whole host of cleaning jobs - from...

Exceptionally high flow rate!

Image
Ultra-high pressure washer shipped Ready to ship to its new owner - a well-built, hard-wearing ultra-high pressure washer cleaner.  This Morclean machine has a really unusual specification as the flow rate is so high. Usually, conventional flow rates would be closer to 21 lpm and this Ultra High Pressure cleaner is a whopping 60 lpm.  This means that 20kW of cleaning power can be achieved without adding extremely high pressures . Our MD, Peter Morley worked the formulae back to study the true power of this cleaning machine. If we used just 21 lpm flow rate we would need around 575 bar (8300 psi) to achieve the same kW.  Using pressures of 8000psi and above definitely adds more risk when using, not to mention the lower pressure machine is far easier to operate. The higher flows are better for 'flushing' debris to remove them, rather than cutting straight through them.  Just to put it into perspective, a pressure washer you might find in a petrol forecourt would achie...

New Wash Tank Design for Site in Manchester

Image
The final handover of this brand new Wash Tank to the site managers in Manchester happened just last week!  Morclean have been busy installing this Wash Tank, which is a new design for this year. Using our very own R&D department and 3D CAD, Morclean have re-designed the Wash Bay Tanks and made several improvements. It is ideal for washing factory parts and components. The site we visited is a paint production factory - which, as you can imagine - can be messy work at times! The Wash Tank was specifically for washing barrels and containers that are used a lot in this factory. What is very important is that the water is contained and captured, so it can be disposed of safely and by proper means. The Wash Bay prevents any waste water escaping.  The entire washing area is completely water tight, and self contained. The screens around the washing area prevent any overspray escaping into the surrounding area. Some paints can be made using chemicals and components that could be...
