It's not just a drain: BinWash System

#ItsNotJustADrain: BinWash System

You may not be aware that disposing of contaminated waste water could land you with a hefty fine or in some extreme cases, potentially prison.

This is because there are different types of drains which can only have certain things run through them. These are foul drains and surface drains.

A foul drain is designed to carry contaminated wastewater to a sewage works for treatment, where as a surface drain is only really meant for rainwater and uncontaminated, clean water.

This is because surface drains lead directly towards our rivers, streams and lakes and the untreated, chemical laced water is deadly to our eco system and potentially harmful to animals that may drink the water.

Activities that product contaminated water or other liquids ('trade effluent') may include:
  • Wheelie bin washing
  • Vehicle washing
  • Yard cleaning
  • Manufacturing processes
  • Water cooling
  • Cleaning of food production areas or ovens

Our Bin Wash machines are fully self-contained, meaning all of the dirty, yucky water that is produced from cleaning the wheelie bins is collected and stored in the machine and said wash water is recycled as per the EA guidelines, allowing you to wash bins legally.
We are always pushing boundaries and looking for new ways to make our Bin Wash systems even better each time.

Here at Morclean, we knew this was a problem and many bin cleaning businesses needed a solution. That's why our award winning Bin Wash systems are our best sellers, worldwide.
This is why we've developed most ranges of our Bin Wash machines with '
6 Stages of Treatment', in order to make cleaning bins an effortless duty:

  1. The catchment tray takes out larger items of debris
  2. A fine mesh screen [80 mesh/177 microns] filters the water
  3. The third filter [20 mesh/871 microns] is situated just before the pump
  4. Water in the holding tank passes through a ‘blue’ washable filter [100 micron nylon mesh]
  5. Water is filtered through a silver impregnated tube which inhibits the growth of bacteria.
  6. The water is then aerated before it enters the main tank.
The tank of water is re-filtered while the machine is idling. In effect the water gets cleaner and cleaner throughout the day.
